@georgef35 Look at Cleo's eyes, they're closed in contentment. A scared animal would never take its eyes off its 'predator.' A frightened parrot is rigid and upright, with flattened feathers: alert to danger. Perhaps you should study a bit more bird behaviour before you go around blowing your horn.

@nusssssu that's incredible! So happy to hear! Is he young? Now that he's comfy with you, spend as much time as you can with him. Just as easily as he can warm up, he can also go back to being a loner if you don't have time to spend with him. So keep him busy, and he'll be your best friend :) xo

My lovebird Tico is very scared of me, i tried to touch him once, but he totally freaked, and started flying around is his cage like a psycho.

Do you have any tips ? I want him to be calm with me and i really wanna teach him some tricks but he's so scared, Please answer:)

@nusssssu Hi - I wish I could help you, but my lovebird is VERY hormonal right now, and she won't even let me near her at all. Outside the cage, she is ok. Typically, lovebirds are very territorial and will bite very hard to defend. As for Tico, just try and get him used to you being around with your hand in the cage first. Show him that you mean him no harm. Offer him treats, millet spray, etc. Don't talk loudly, be gentle and calm always. In time, offer him your finger to perch.
