I'm pretty sure she's called a Zashiki Warashi, a spirit that inhabits houses and protects them from evil spirits and grants good luck, but are normally playful and will play pranks on the inhabitants, and not called a Vestal Sprite.... I could be wrong, but I doubt it.

Well, I don't really know, but in the anime series they use the name Vestal Sprite for her. So, that's how I call her!
