I think its so neat when they would get stars on there that you never would ever expect them to ever do a spot appearance of all places sesame street! how neat!! what a great singer Johny Cash was!
"Sesame Street" used to encourage kids to use their imaginations with songs like this that didn't have visuals for everything. "Sesame Street" has long been blamed for shortening kids' attention spans to the point where they can't sit still & amuse themselves. That blame was well ahead of its time, but now it's (unfortunately) valid.
Thanks Sawing. This is the one i remember not the one we see on the DVD. I so wishing it was going to be a bonus but it wasn't. Oh well i can watch it here.
I was aware it's on that DVD, but it's presented with new animated sequences unnecessarily added in. Look at the video I've responded to and you'll see what I mean.

Well, at least the other songs on that DVD we're mostly un-altered.

I def. prefer the original without the added animations.
Things haven't been the same on Sesame Street since Kevin Clash became an executive producer. I like Elmo, but we see way too much of him now.

Whoa! I recognize the other 3 muppets.
The green female, and the orange and blue male muppets are the same 3 muppets from "The Ballad of The Sad Cafe".
Quite a coincidence, isn't it?

Probably they were filmed around the same time.

You could be right 'cause I knew they looked familiar.

Ohhh, so that's why Jonny left us....
Just kidding...it was a nice episode and a nice song to let my baby daughter hear.

Actually, this was on the "Kids' Favorite Country Songs" DVD. If you don't believe me, read the review on Muppet Central.
