  • yeah that's how it's done. you only dip as low you need to

  • pretty good for not even dipping low, thats awesome

  • Nice! Keep it up!

  • good form but once you get under the bar u need to dip down like your squatting

  • @Jokerizbadass

no.. then that would be a "squat" clean -.-

  • @iH3ARTATTACK I'm sorry that you don't know the difference between a power clean and a squat clean.

  • legit. congrats!

  • Feet also go to wide.

  • I don't know if you're responding to comments or even reading them, And while you're definately strong. Perfect form it's not. You're pulling with your arms way too much on the 2nd pull, and not using your hips (triple extension) to pop the weight up there like you should be. Try keeping your arms straight longer (or atleast in a fixed position) so that your hips are popping the bar up more, as opposed to just doing an upright row.

  • I think people must realize that a power clean is all about explosive power meaning it takes less than 3 seconds to perform but a full clean is a muscle strength movement so if you want muscle stick to squat cleans but if you want explosive power and speed stick to power cleans plus they are an athletic movement!

  • @iH3ARTATTACK Yeah, learn what a power clean is. Then come back.

  • You need to get your hips all the way through. You're like half way

  • your form is far from perfect buddy

  • Bro.Horrible form.BUT excellent strength and raw power. To be honest you have lots of potential in the OLY lifting aspect. I would find a good coach and practice DAILY. Plus it helps EXTREMELY with Football. It increased my 40 from a 4.7 to a low 4.5 high 4.4. It will also increase you vert. I play College football BUT also training for the olympics in Rio in 2016. I weigh 198 I snatch 145kg and C+j 170. I have a lot of training to do but it will come. If you need any help let me know bro!

  • defiantly FARRRR from perfect form.... here is another great example of how high school athletes are being taught wrong how to lift

  • Get a hell of a lot lower

  • @kvkjkl967 It's a power clean you genius.

  • Your strong man thats for sure. Im 17 and train with my dad who was on the 64' Olympic team and Ernie Frantz for my power lifting days so im not trying to be a asshole but you are just muscling it up. If you get more flexible and learn to pull yourself under it instead of throwing it to your chest you could max out at prob high 300's man

  • @Djspoonboone True, but it's a power clean... So the purpose is actually to throw it to your chest...

  • @GZA036 No, the purpose of a power clean is to catch it above parallel.

  • @EndlersaurusRex Yes, throw it to your chest and catch it above parallel.

  • @GZA036 No, you pull it to your delts. Throwing it to your chest is wrong.

  • not bad. Atleast some highschoolers see the value in olympic lifts. How much does he weigh?

  • Definitely not perfect form but it's not bad. The fact that he jumps back says he is pulling with his back a bit, and judging from how he catches the heavier loads, he needs to learn how to catch into a proper front squat and keep his legs under himself. If he can fix these things he could add a good amount of weight on to that max.

  • hahah i was gonna post not perfect but props buuuut....

  • arm bent

  • Hey dude if the "Perfect form" thing was supposed to be an April fools joke, you posted it a few days too early.

  • @ajwazhere You should probably stick to guitar hero.

  • @GZA036 I'll stick to being a D1 athlete, thanks.

  • @ajwazhere Me too. Except I'll play football instead of throwing a stick.

  • @GZA036 With zero videos. Stick to being a troll.

  • @EndlersaurusRex Yeah except that this is my video. Dumbass.

  • @GZA036 You have zero videos on this account, the one I was referring to. Whether or not you are the one in this video or it is yours, I could not ascertain since it's not in your channel.

Your failure to post videos does not make me a dumbass, it makes you look incompetent.

  • @GZA036 Not sure why that's a valid argument? My sport is much more respected on a global scale than yours will ever be.

  • @ajwazhere Too bad no one here cares. Looks like you're out of luck.

  • @GZA036 Is that so? I didn't you were the sole person on the planet that speaks for everyone's opinion.

  • Comment removed

  • @GZA036 If you really want to be a douche about it; how many people watch the summer Olympics in comparison to the super bowl? The Superbowl pulls about 110 million viewers; the Olympics pulls about 3.5 billion viewers world-wide. Yeah.... oops.

  • @ajwazhere So you're comparing the amount of viewers for ONE GAME to the amount of viewers that watch 300 events in 26 sports over the course of several weeks.... Yeah... OOPS DUMBASS. And you don't play 26 sports. You run and throw a javelin. That's all you do. I'm sure you're great at it... But that's it.

  • @ajwazhere You want to compare apples and oranges. Let's stick to apples. Collegiate javelin vs college football. You're not in the Olympics, douche.

  • @GZA036 I mean dude if you want to we can compare apples and oranges. On a global scale, silver/gold/diamond league meets are still followed by more people than any football game is, as well as the world championships and the previously mentioned Olympics. You can't compare a sport that is popularized in America because it makes money, and a sport that is popularized by the rest of the world because people started their event(s) since they were three years old and have loved it ever since.

  • @ajwazhere I wonder why your sport doesn't make any money....

  • Comment removed

  • @GZA036 There's a reason America's financial situation is garbage compared to the rest of the world :)

  • @GZA036 I care more about his sport than yours.

  • @EndlersaurusRex Of course you do. Because you weren't athletic enough to play football. Not my problem.

  • @GZA036 I could broad jump >3.0m, run a 3.8 30m, and a dunk a basketball at HS with little weight training and being only 6ft. I didn't play football because I had no interest in it, not because I wasn't "athletic enough".

It's not like you have to even be athletic to play football in HS or even lots of colleges. Some of those people (especially linemen) are the least athletic buffoons out there.

  • @EndlersaurusRex Oh so you were athletic enough, just weren't tough enough. Afraid to get hit. Hey, don't feel bad. It's not for everyone.

Linemen, strongman competitors, powerlifters... Yeah they're all just big "buffoons" aren't they. Idiot.

  • @GZA036 Tell me, are you in America? If so, why are you awake so late at night? I was tough enough to play. I merely had no interest in it. It's that simple.

And maybe if you read my words properly you'd see I said "some" linemen were unathletic buffoons, not all, instead of twisting them to make yourself look intelligent.

  • Bad form, there is no discernible difference between the first and second pull, the bar travels too far away from his body, resulting in him arm barring it to a catch position that isn't convincing at all because he's leaning back far too much. Maybe try 2 plates with good form first

  • @Jerrythejerboa Just watched your power clean video....... LOL

  • also he's bending his arms a bit.

  • @deeathlete Right, begins the second pull too soon.

  • Specificly list the MAJOR problems with his clean technique please. The most obvious to me is his feet getting a bit wide.

  • anyone notice how he doesnt drop ? instead he moves his legs apart . your getting only upper body stength from this which is important but not as important as legs

  • I would never put perfect form if i was you because you will get a bunch of tool bags who think they know what they are talking about trying to criticize you.

  • @asiankyle23 "well he had horrible this-that-blah blah bitchyied blah", most of the people dont even know what hey are talking about, or are most likely little twigs that dont even lift

  • Perfect form huh? Among other things, why do his feet spread during the catch? Good for you for moving that much weight, but you would be able to do a lot more weight with proper technique.

  • I love how everybody tries to act like know it alls on youtube..

  • not perfect form watch his legs go apart

  • @MeRcMePLEASE theyre supposed to but not tht much

  • kinda laughable saying its perfect form. you could do alot more if you did have perfect form. you are really strong.

  • Comment removed

  • He starts too wide and lands in a sumo position. The only exercise "specific" to sprinting and cutting is sprinting and cutting. He is putting up a lot of weight......HOWEVER.....if this isn't translating into a higher vertical jump(triple extension), longer broad jump(triple extension), or faster 25 yards accelerations it is doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for athleticism........and is just throwing weight around.

  • Dude.....we're not dissing the weight......we're just trying to help. You just need to go deep in the catch or squat of any kind for that matter to engage the posterior chain properly.......that's all we're saying.

  • @GZA036

Agree.....complex training is great.......just have to have the initial strength base

  • The way it's done..youtube.com/watch?v=nOWcrqOSevs........

  • Comment removed

  • Vertical Jump has the highest correlation to football ability.....look it up

  • cleaning up the form would get him to 345. Form isn't perfect but the raw material is there

  • I can deadlift to reverse curl 315 too.

  • Can someone please tell me what song is playing in this video?

    BTW Nice job kid.

  • Nice job!

  • DAMN SICK LIFTS!!

  • ok terriple form , TERRIPLE form , which makes this lift even more impressive .

    too impressive

  • @ahmednabil terriple spelling you fucking idiot. TERRIPLE

  • people who have minimal lifting experience confuse the combination of hard work and good genetics with people using illegal performance enhancers. As an ex-offensive linemen and currently a power lifter, it is entirely plausible this kid can clean 315 without the use of steroids, or other pro-hormones

  • @eminency70 This is exactly what I went through the past few years of my HS lifting career (I'm a Senior now, my days are done). I had the highest bench and hang clean in my school (360, 300lbs), and of course people keep asking what I take, etc. I can't help that my father was a college ball player with a 400lb bench, and I happen to have short T-Rex arms that help my bench. And of course, people look straight past the 5 years I dedicated to the weight room. It's ok though, true lifters know.

  • nice job...but ur gonna mess ur back up if u keep jus bending over to put it down

  • Nice arm pull.

  • oh yea....all that nice equipment but no bumpers?

  • not sure where the hates coming from about this kid supposedly juicing. just graduated a kid with a 310 clean at 185lbs bw. if anything this dude should be putting up bigger numbers.

  • This is not perfect form. See the Pyrros Dimas Power Clean video for perfect form.

  • @illegitimate0

Exactly.........you receive the weight(which is the reason it produces an explosive triple extension in oly athletes) in a full squat with the feet not much wider than shoulder width.my son C&J 345 at about 185lb bodyweight right out of HS after some proper Oly lift training. Not huge.but certainly way better form than this. The higher the weight, the more you need to catch it in a full front squat.

  • @Gooberhead1956 Wrong, this is a power clean, not a full squat clean. They are two different lifts.

  • @GZA036

The catch in a full squat is what gives the full effect.......the eccentric contraction at the bottom gives more speed and power........just trying to help you get better is all........"power" is a misnomer because the olympic lift requires way more power.....look up Pyrrhos Dimas for perfect form at some 450lbs or so

  • @Gooberhead1956 You're missing the point. It's the principle of specificity. This isn't an olympic lifter. It's a football player. A power clean is caught in "the athletic position" rather than a full squat. Football is played in "the athletic position." This is why power cleans from the floor or from a hanging position are generally more utilized than "full squat cleans" in football training.

  • @GZA036

I'm sorry.....but you are wrong. My son played D-1 football at strong safety. If you want to develop full engagement of the glutes and hamstrings, you do a full squat with receiving the weight at the bottom......with the resulting eccentric contraction and stretch reflex. There is nothing "specific" about a power clean and spreading the legs on the catch. He's a white kid and tested over a 36" inch vertical at the NIKE combine so I'm not just blowing smoke up your ass.

  • @Gooberhead1956 Did I say anything about spreading the legs on the catch? LOL...

There is nothing "specific" about a power clean? LOL...

    The "so-called athletic postion?" LOL...

Bottom line: you train how you play, closely mimicking the movement patterns used in competition. Full cleans have their place. I say implement them all: Power cleans, hang cleans, full cleans, hang snatches, split jerks... etc. etc.

  • @GZA036 The issue is this deviates from the proper from of a power clean, so it also deviates from the positions from other athletic events it's supposed to strengthen, The hip pop, arguably the most important portion of the power clean could be stronger, too.

The weight is good...he'd just be benefiting more from catching it ina proper athletic stance, rather than a wide sumo stance.

  • @EndlersaurusRex Agreed.

  • @illegitimate0

Totally agree.......these "power cleans" are slop......do them right and watch the acceleration and vertical explode

  • @illegitimate0

    Dimas=God

  • @illegitimate0 Yes... Pyrros Dimas, an olympic gold medalist, has better clean form than a high school football player...

  • @GZA036 The video says perfect form. I don't want anyone getting confused. There's not a lot of good reference videos out there for the power clean.

  • @illegitimate0 Form is pretty good. He should get into Olympic Weightlifting. PC 300, Squat clean might be about 320-50 ish. Then he just has to jerk it.

  • @deeathlete his form is terrible if you would compare it to a perfect clean/power clean, iam sorry to say it but he need to work on his technique, i am doing Olympic weightlifting myself, workout 9 times a week so i do have a clue about what i'm talking about... but you are right that he should try Olympic weightlifting because he has got a good strenght from what i'm seeing here

  • @illegitimate0 his form is not perfect, there are some flaws. In the video your talking about he whips his head back and also shrugs before the second pull, both of which are seen as technique flaws. He was a lot stronger than the competition so it did not hinder him as much as it would a lesser man.

  • @illegitimate0 its a good lift though its not quite fair to compare a highschool athlete to a multiple olympic gold weightlifting medal winner pyrros does have unbelievably good form but thats expected great job to this guy and of course dimas to

  • @MrChasegei Yeah it is a good lift. But the video says perfect form, that's the only reason I said that.

  • Remember not to bend the arms in the pull!

  • a lot of arm pull in that lift. still very impressive lift, especially considering the heavy arm pull, but it is not perfect form.

  • caught it alittle out in front but good lift man

  • he wont live very long taking that many steroids in high school.i should know im a pro ifbb.i know more than all of you and that boy is using lots of steroids and needs to stop

  • @027ravman59 your a fucking idiot im a sophmore in highschool just turned 16 and did 225 for 1 by senior year 315 should be capable. im not outrageously big either only 6'2 and 214lbs ive just been cleaning since 8thgrade

  • @stuart7337 you young boy.u fool and the shape of his muscle and density you can tell he has used.dont pass comment when you dont have a clue what your talking about kid.in two years time you wont be doing that weight naturally.thats almost a 50 pound jump a year for your max weight.that is un heard of in any class of weight lifting and if you do have gains that large in 2 years you have used you little wanker.you young kids are so dumb.go to bed before you mommy spanks you...or me

  • @027ravman59 i didn't know creatine was a steroid. most football players take creatine and jack3d for best results in strength gains. reason why his body looks like that is because he's a power lifter, not a bodybuilder. not to mention the mass that creatine gives you which is mainly water weight. i easily gained 140lb on my squat, 80 on my bench, and 150 on my deadlift in one year when i was 17. all that was taken was EAS protein and nitro tech. of course a fractured spine fucked me over.

  • @AlwayzBallin24 creatine does not make you look like tht kid.if that is true with you weights.thats the first year and that would mean youve gone from benching nothing to 225 or something.you wont maintain that rate bud.talking to a 17 year old kid about weight lifting is almost pointless.youll learn one day kid

  • @027ravman59 i'm actually 19 now and i know plenty. u cant even gain 50lb in your bench in a year, i get that in months. with proper training, form, and nutrition. stop tryin to criticize others because of YOUR failures. god i can already see u as one of those scrawny guys that goes to the gym for years and doesn't improve one bit.

  • @AlwayzBallin24 hahaha 19 year old boy.not a man.youll learn some day kiddo.at this rate youll be benching 900 pounds by the end of next year naturally.you little fool.hahaha yea im tiny. guy montefiore shaffer.you can look me up an see how small i am.your a know it all 19 year old little puck kid who doesnt know a thing about bodybuilding or weight training.hey so now that your 19 and at 17 you had a 80 pound bench gain.by now you should be doing well over 400 pounds????80 pound a year gain.ha

  • @027ravman59 spine injury from deadlifting 475 with bad form. id say id be doing around 365 by now if i wasn't bedridden for 3 months during the summer. bench actually went from 330 to 280. i'm not stupid enough to think u can constantly gain 80 pounds a year on your bench/squat/ clean or w/e. sooner or later your gains will slow down due to age and plateau. back to the point, this guy doesn't look like he's on steroids at all.. u could either be a troll or a failure at life.

  • @AlwayzBallin24 your 19 years old and dnt no a thing about steroids.and if you havnt taken any how would you know what to look for if you dont know what they do to your body.your a little fool kid.330 to 280?you lose 50 pounds.you so stupid kid.go to school and get a education and become a ceo because weightlifting and body building is not in your blood.your a pussy kid.a little kitty cat

  • @027ravman59 learn some grammar. you're looking like the dumbass.

    Have a nice day

  • @027ravman59 this was when i was 18 trying to play d1 football but because of my injury i stopped. weightlifting and bodybuilding is just something i do now to stay in shape since i no longer have any chance of playin football. your probably right about the steroid thing. i dont know too much about it but i hate when people assume everyone uses them.

  • @027ravman59 I just googled your ass. You're big not gonna lie. But not worthy of talkin shit on so many videos. I see your comments hating on MANY videos. I'm almost about to think you think Dimas is a bad lifter. Or Reza. Let us see vids of you doin cleans. Or anything that requires flexibility for that matter. You're big but I'm bettin you're slow, uncoordinated, and inflexible. Stop acting like a douche and prove you can do these things you're hating on people for.

  • @Tbergan67 big?hahaha im bigger than big sunshine.me and culter are the same size but he has proprtion.hahaha well i can power clean over 560 but ok what ever you say kid.i dont need to prove anything.just go ask jay culter and dexter jackson what i can do.oh by the way i was a world class athlete when i was younger but you know everything there to.hahaha go back to school kid your mommy is waitng to pick you up

  • @027ravman59 Ahhh so your saying you can beat the mentioned olympic lifters? I've noticed a trend of arrogance in all the comments I've seen from you. Rather depressing how much one can think of themselves.

  • @027ravman59 Sorry but you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about! "you can tell by his muscle density " and shape that he has used? From this video? lol...now that's some funny shit...And a 50lb jump in bench is easily doable especially for somone around puberty and if someone hasn't had proper training and nutritional protocol before that. 50lb a year, til infinity, of course not. but 50lbs in a year, easily. Fucking youtube...

  • @TheFitnessTutor i have no idea what im talking about????? guy montefiore shaffer.just look me up.i think youll find i know a lil more than you about it you retard.fitness tutor, you couldnt teach me how to screw the bolt off a barn yard door you fucking jerk weed,i would break you little boy.go touch shcool kids cause you wouldnt have a clue about real body building and steroids and what it takes.get lost kid

  • @027ravman59 and you have used to you moron so take your black ass back to the gym you weak fat fuck because you look like shit

  • @027ravman59 Did you just reply to yourself? And I've never used anything more than creatine and food. Wow...how old are you, 3?

  • @027ravman59 blah blah...I've read a few times of you talking about your name or whatever. Noone cares dude! I'm not looking up your name. All I know is that the shit you stated above is fucking hilarious. Telling someone they MUST be on steroids after watching a vid of them on youtube. hahaha...

  • and muscle shape is a huge part of taking steroids you fucking tool.go back to school and learn you dumb ass typical faggot yankie doodle american.no wonder the world hates you faggots.all full of shit

  • @027ravman59 lol...awww...is it mad because it lives in another country? No wonder. Sure steroids affect muscle shape, but not enough to be able to tell from a grainy video of a kid in shorts and a tee shirt. Have a good day being pissed off about being useless and needing to mention a country because you can't talk about facts. Way to go!

  • @027ravman59 Ahh...sounds like you might have roid rage! Of course you need to talk shit about heritage, what will do next, bring race into the "argument" you're having? hahaha...what do you even know about muscle growth and shape? Tell me how you can shape a muscle big man? Go ahead...Show me any double blind study dealing with shape of muscles. How can you shape a muscle? do you know anything about sarcoplasmic vs myofibrillar. You're funny! How do steroids shape muscles?

  • @027ravman59 oh fuck nevermind...looking back you used the race card a long time ago. Way to show your ignorance. Now get me some info on how muscles are shaped by anything more hypertrophy. Go. Help this helpless dumb black yankee from the south and enlighten me please sir...or just talk some shit about nothing scientific.

  • Not perfect form... watch Olympic Weightlifting they have perfect form...i understand this is a CLEAN. But still if you arched your back, started slow from the ground. and gradually built up power and exploded vertical it would save your lower back and be more efficient. I am not taking away from accomplishment. That's good weight your moving keep up the good work.

  • Comment removed

  • the eccentric phase of the catch is MINIMAL and would be equivalent to a very short squat, plus you have to factor in what muscles your trying to overload, in particular the posterior chain your rhomboids would benefit greatly from a controlled decent.. Regarding deceleration against air , that doesn't matter whats more important is absorbing FORRCE from mass and acceleration from other players. when in doubt ask yourself which is harder??? and lowering it to the floor is much harder!

  • Comment removed

  • @formoutofchaos Yeah decelerating against "air" isn't important, because football isn't about speed and change of direction is it............. Retard.

And catching 300-400 pounds sure is minimal isn't it. Easy, right?

Making a cut at full speed also involves HUNDREDS of pounds of force being exerted on your body. We have a new problem. You don't understand physics. LMAO

  • you clearly stated the eccentric portion of powerclean is worthless, thats prob why you aren't playing football anymore!! WHen it comes to football the return is what prepares your body to absorb the hits. Go to the gym and trya controlled return with a pauuse at the bottom vs a drop and reset trust me you get more out of it that way.

  • @formoutofchaos The eccentric portion of a clean is extremely important. You don't even know what the eccentric portion is, that's the problem. Because you're stupid.

The eccentric portion is the CATCH. After you explode the weight up, you drop under the bar in an athletic position and attempt to DECELERATE the weight. This is called an ECCENTRIC CONTRACTION. Then you stand. CONCENTRIC. The lift is now complete.

  • @formoutofchaos There are many high-force eccentric contractions on the football field: landing after a jump, making cuts, absorbing a hit, breaking down from a sprint.... these all involve DECELERATING a load in an athletic position, just like catching the weight during a clean. THE CATCH.

So, don't put words in my mouth, douche.

  • @formoutofchaos you're an idiot. the eccentric portion of a lift is useless and makes you more prone to injury. The only thing that eccentric phases do is cause you soreness, which is nothing but negative.

  • He NEVER says ANYTHING about a controlled lowering after you clean. You are inferring that. And you are wrong. Because you are stupid.

  • hahaha That's not the eccentric portion. IT'S NOT EVEN A PORTION AT ALL. The eccentric portion of a clean is THE CATCH. You drop it and there is a pause between reps. That is the PAUSE!!! SMH

  • R UR STONED i was talking about everyones claim (who stated down below that the eccentric portion of a clean didnt matter ! if you threw the weight down ummm that wouldnt be a pause! there for pausing would include a controlled decent!!!!!!! read below it seems you cant.

  • lower back that limited their performance.. *( was the last sentence

  • One of the most common questions I’m asked is whether to pause the bar at the bottom or to bounce the bar between reps during power cleans or power snatches. Those athletes who like the bouncing approach, using the elastic quality inherent in bumper plates to gain momentum from the bottom, usually do so to compensate for a weak lower back. It is also extremely stressful on the spinal column – every single athlete I’ve seen who used this approach always turned out to have a weak lowerback.

  • thats what you have to say? so you think deadlifts aren't sports specific??? well one needs To train all the fiber types found in the erector spinae, it’s best that you alternate between two types of routines: one that focuses on activating the high-threshold motor units with heavy loads and one that activates the lower-threshold motor units by prolonging the time under tension, I'll school you on sports nutrition or lifting any day of the week! I bet you think a calorie is a calorie huh????

  • @formoutofchaos You're not schooling anyone buddy. Yeah let's start talking about protein and different types of carbohydrates on a clean video, maybe it will divert everyone's attention away from the other stupid shit you said. Lol gtfo of here dude.

  • @GZA036 One of the most common questions I’m asked is whether to pause the bar at the bottom or to bounce the bar between reps during power cleans or power snatches. Those athletes who like the bouncing approach, using the elastic quality inherent in bumper plates to gain momentum from the bottom, usually do so to compensate for a weak lower back. It is also extremely stressful on the spinal column – every single athlete I’ve seen who used this approach always turned out to have lower back weak

  • @formoutofchaos Pausing at the bottom or bouncing... Where the hell did this come from? It has literally NOTHING to do this video.

You're never going to recover from the stupid shit you said earlier. Now you are just blurting out random statements.... Lmfao!!

  • BTW team strength coaches are the worst among the field! so yeah go ahead and think thats the case why do you think athletes hire private PROfessionalS no decent coach would work for 50k a year!!! *what i wrote below was from a strength coach that coached ummm 15 gold medals in 12 diff sports!!! IDIOT!!! you will not win this battle, and in case you cant read ask a friend to read it to you

  • @formoutofchaos Oops, too bad these coaches make 100 to 200 grand per year. You fail again.

  • *I AM TALKING SPORTS SPECIFIC!!!!!! here you go TOOLS LEARN SOMETHING!!!!!

wont let me post the link but

google putting meat on the spinal erectors by charles poliquin and you will start to understand what im saying!

ps. lets see everyones deadlift technique!!!! i bet his sucks!!!!

  • *continued to prepare for collision of football, trust me if you have ever hit a hole against a fullback head on a powerclean with control to the floor would be very beneficial. sports specific thats my point. only a dumbass would lower 300 to 400 lbs to the floor? umm well yeah that dumbass that was would prob knock you off your feet. you see if his back was strong enough he wouldn't of leaned forward so much on his squat! if his posterior chain was in structural balance !

  • @formoutofchaos Yeah, let's see everyone's deadlift technique! Because slowly lifting heavy weight from the floor is much more sport specific than a hang clean...... right?

It's official. You're an idiot. Just go away.

  • were do i even begin, * i first suggest some of you take some real sports specific training seminars not just read your NASC handbook! first of all how a powerclean should be done for a football player is much different that how it should be done for a weightlifter, a basketball player and sprinter in those cases dropping the weight is fine. But you see in football, * who has even played football answering these. ITs a collision sport not a contact sport and lower the weight helps *FOOTBALL

  • Comment removed

  • @formoutofchaos Oh ok, I'll take some real sport specific training seminars. Nah... fuck you. How about I just go a step further and train in D1A college football weight rooms under top coaches like Hedrick, McGettigan, Pat Moore, Joe Kenn.... Go put some meat on your spinal erectors and leave the coaching to people who know what they are talking about.

  • Nice work. Form wasn't perfect on the last one but I don't think anyone's got perfect form on PRs, only thing I was worried about was wrist placement. 18 y/o is great for those numbers.

  • *his squats even worse than his clean! spotted with hands on the way down! weak, !!! his high light real i never even saw on proper tackle! he just falls on the guys form the sides nothing head on!!!!

  • @formoutofchaos wow where to begin. Only a dumbass would claim that 70% of a power clean is lowering the weight to the floor. The ECCENTRIC (negative) portion of the lift IS THE CATCH, YOU DUMBASS. You decelerate the weight during THE CATCH. Once you stand the lift is complete. Only a dumbass would then attempt to lower 300-400 lbs to the ground and injure their back. You're telling on yourself, dude. You must have wasted those 10yrs because you don't know how to apply anything.

  • @GZA036 *i was responding to your comment right HERE!!!!! which i proved you wrong with the PAUSE!!! you cant pause a weight it you through it down on the ground! THE LOWERING PORTION IS important thats prob why you aint playing nfl!

  • @formoutofchaos if anything, he is saying that TRYING TO CONTROL IT and bounce it, rather than just drop it and reset (pause) between each rep, is "extremely stressful on the spinal column"

WHICH IS EXACTLY WHAT I AM SAYING.

you have completely failed. The quote you posted actually proved you wrong!!! HILARIOUS.

  • @formoutofchaos jumping reverse curl?? Umm no. Cleans, snatches, high pulls, jump shrugs...The sport specific portion of all of these lifts is the EXPLOSIVE TRIPLE EXTENSION of ankle, knee, hip. The CONCENTRIC portion. That's why many programs use the "nintendo" devices to measure time/velocity/power etc. This isn't a squat where we are lowering in a three count to maximize muscle damage. Speaking of squats, his squats actually ARE perfect and you are a tool for bitching about having a spotter.
