  • Brain pablum like this is starting to look downright classic lined up against today's television.

  • i never saw this movie chances are it was my bed time being 9 years old i didn't have much say so on when my bed time was

  • I remember this when nbc aired the incredible hulk reurns

  • a 'eight is enough' family reunion? Damn, can't get more 80's then that.

  • Such an epic intro, haha.

  • I also taped this stupid show back in 87. After I watched the 8 is enough reunion and then the Brady Christmas Reunion in 88, I realized how much of a fucking loser I was. Fortunately, today I am glad to say, I changed my life for better, but I am still a loser.

  • @mccarrpo

How dare you speak ill about the Brady's. There is nothing loser-ish when the Brady's are involved.

  • OMG! I saw this Eight is Enough reunion movie in 1987. Those were the days!!

  • They really did a good job with this intro. A movie on TV used to be a really big deal.

  • I know people love the ABC movie openings of the 70s, and 80s. but this NBC one completely out blows it out the water very underrated in my opinion.

  • @NitroProxio im with you on that..I always thought NBC always (even now) had a more sophisticated feel to it..the graphics are clean and all the programming is always great from the sports to the news. ive commented this in other NBC videos but i so wish i could get a whole years worth (80s) of feed from nbc ...if i only knew someone that worked for them :P

  • @primenemisis and who could forget the macys thanksgiving parade!!

  • remember this well......and I grew up in Pittsburgh with WPXI

  • NBC has slid to 4th place amount US networks. I have not watched NBC in years. The network sucks!! Jeff Zucker is the CEO and he has driven the network in the ground. GE, the owners of NBC, need to fire him and try to revive this once great network.

  • This is totally John Williams. I can tell because he composes everything for NBC.

  • I miss those days

  • Now, NBC Friday Night at the Movies Now Playing, Sailor Moon S: The Movie.

  • Maybe they should show anime on NBC. A show like Eden of the East would do good 10/9C instead of Jay.

  • People say NBC has hit rock bottom, but they do something like that, then yeah, they would hit rock bottom.

  • Followed By-Saturday Night's Main Event!

  • @Urvy1A I remember SNME very well. Wrestling good days.

  • @Urvy1A .Thats right! I think I will go see a SNME intro from the 80's right now.

  • @Wheeloffortunelover Or better yet, "NBC Sunday Night @ The Movies presents the network television premiere of 'Ramona and Beezus.'"

  • and who also did the theme music?

  • how did nbc come upith those graphics and the the music for th 1987 and the graphics and music from the 1993 season?

  • how did nbc come up with the graphics for the 1987 season and the 1993 seasons?

  • What about the NBC Movie intro from 1991 through 1995??

  • They made an Eight Is Enough reunion movie? I must of been out that night.

  • this theme was also used in Australia by the Australian Television Network (Channel 7 and Prime Television) from 1988-93.

  • Also Sky's Movie Channel In the

UK Used the graphics in the early 90's

  • Voiceover by Jerry Bishop

  • hes also the narattor of judge judy

  • I used to have a recording of Short Circuit and I think it had the NBC movie intro and showing a preview of the movie

  • actually this opening was first used in the 1987 season

  • Great theme! A piece like that could make the worst movie sound important.

  • I would say this teaser is proof of that.

  • this theme was used through the 90-91 season
