@lairdriver Problem is, actually Doomsday is growing weaker, storywise you would be right actually, but writers are making doomsday nowadays to easy to beat, remember that superman also became stronger since his death, and if we can give any advice to the elseworlds, superman too becomes more powerful with age.
Superman was sundipped in our worlds at war and nothing happened, when he got cancer by the sun is in the elseworld non canonic allstar.

i remember one time bulma dad said it would took goku 75 year's to get to namik at light speed..so he modelfy the ship to get there in (was it 6 or 7 day's)and king ki was keeping up with him going at that speed...but king ki lost track of goku when he was fighting frieza at ssj form but IT move's at 186,000 miles(LOL) i like the fighting but the storyline suck's at time's....do u now when the next smallville ep coming on ?????

@jimbodandy i don't think bulma's dad said speed off light, but it would still take goku a long time to get to namek with any normal earth made space ship, even a normal saiyan ship. so he upgraded it to make it travel across the universe in a few day. maybe old namek was on the otherside of the universe from earth, while new namek was alot closer and goku could travel there via IT and be there in back in seconds. there is also the possibility that goku couldn't sense old namek from earth....

well u have to see it from this point of view ...when goku gave freiza a little power he survived a planet explosion after he was more than half way dead...it was the blast from buu that killed gohan not the planet explosion..but u now how it is dbz db dgt don't make no sense alot of time's

@jimbodandy true, thing is though, if a planet exploded it would pretty much produce the same heat as a sun for a moment probably, you see cooler survived the sun but broly didn't, dbz is just fucked up that way, at least the movies were.

@jimbodandy yeah Raditz couldn't have been faster than light when he wasn't even capable of blowing up entire planets last time i remember. he was a weak low class saiyan giving Piccolo and his brother a hard time because Goku was too used to the gravity on Earth, also if saiyans could travel at light speed then instant transmission would've been useless for Goku. but we all heard him say it, when he came back from planet yardrat he clearly stated with I.T he could move @186,000 miles per sec.

although I could be wrong since at the end of the series goku and vegeta became stronger than gods which was silly, bare in mind, i actually think the kais are pathetic seeing as they got a mortal saiyan to do their jobs for them, fight majin buu, just my opinion, I will admit tho that there are a few other characters outside the db universe who are stupidly overpowered besides precrisis supes, world war hulk and juggernaut (as soon as he gains momentum he can't be stopped and he can't die)

This scene is from Justice League Unlimited episode 13 of series 5, the final episode and the final battle. What this awesome scene doesn't show is that Darkside entraps Superman in the agony matrix (which stimulates all of Superman pain receptors)..but of course, in the end..the good guys always win, with a little help from the bad guy.. Superman has the strength to destroy entire planets with a single punch, the speed to turn back time, lasers more powerful than a nuclear explosion and he is the epitomy of what a hero is. Yet we never see him really do anything.. I'd like to see him fight someplace where he doesn't have to hold back or worry about hurting anyone or destroying anything.

I always told my friends superman is always taking it easy on people. He is almost as fast as the flash, and can hit as hard as the hulk. He never rarely uses those powers together, cuz if he did you would get folded like Darkseid just did.
