:x this games epicly fun once you get over the mass dieing and losing of souls but :o if you quit the game before it auto saves your death youl log into the last place you were when you quit the game with all your souls (very helpful) :P

@Kracg999 no way , demons sousls is much better than Mafia 2. Mafia 2 sucks especially on PS3. Mafia 1 - one of the best games ever made, but not the 2nd one, trust me. Every respecting gamer should have Demon's souls in his collection.

@caste2510 Then don't die? :P That's the point - its punishment. You don't lose a level, or have to start the game over completely (could you imagine if THAT was the punishment? omg)...it seems fair. Play smart - get rewarded and win. Play stupid - get killed and punished. That's the way the game is.

@miguelangel408 depends, you can probably beat the first playthrough in a buncha hours once you get your bearings about you. Platinum? I'm at 120hrs - 1 trophy left (bladestone upgr)

The game is awsome. You don't get the ablility to summon blue players until you come back to life. As far as black souls go you can use the black stone you get after you kill your first black demon.

Funny thing is you can technically beat the game at lv 6. It is just insanely hard.

anyone that beats this game should get a million dollars. seriously. its probably the most hardcore next gen game out there.

i suggest playing through the tutorial and part of the first stage 2 or 3 times until you are able to handle yourself with basic enemies.i find myself only getting killed by one hit killers.playing online helps you avoid traps and ambushes thanks to other ppl's messages.and if your message is rated your character is healed, so its good to place a lot of useful ones

yeah prince of persia is sweet not sure about the latest one though??... if u havent already try and get a copy of "heart of darkness" for ps1 its a two disc game and it plays exactly like abe's odessey but its really hard and creepy lots of levels

looks like its a pretty fantastic game, but has anyone else noticed the covers really, idk just cheep looking i guess.

i would never obsess over something as lame as cover art, but SOMETHING on that cover strikes me as awkward looking.

anyway, its not like im a noob or anything, (i kicked ninja gaiden sigma and ninja gaiden 2s asses till i got bored), but without a demo, i just dont know if i can get hyped up for this game with its extream difficulty. hopefully ill be able to try it out soon

I've been playing Demon's Souls and MY GOD it's frickin amazing...this the most difficult game I've played for as long as I can remember...superb and fantastic, and I love the online aspect, being able to summon people to your world and shit. This game gets a 10 outta 10 from me. I definately recommend this game to people
