I enjoy this levels theme. Very cool. This hasn't been that bad for me, but the beggining always throws me off. Keep forgetting where to go. But luckliy, Hyper Sonic eases the pain. :3

I always thought that was really a lousy plan to fit all the water levels in Sonic 3, all zones except Marble Garden have water in them, while there is none in Sonic & Knuckles, rendering the water shield useless the entire game

I don't think those ghosts are scary. I think they are kind of cute. They are extremely annoying though especially when they are attacking you as you scramble to the switch. Boos (Not the ones from Mario. The ones from Sonic Adventure 2.) looked a lot more terrifying.

I just find myself wonder, what happened to the darkness and mysteriousness that was one of the reasons why I enjoyed Sonic 3 and Knuckles and made it the ultimate version?

When did it turn from this and become a stupid happy light game with piko piko hammers and all sorts of bullshit music, the people who made the music with this achieved something, with their 16-bit or whatever synthesisers, that just makes the new stuff with a real band look pathetic..
