just got a gainstar 30 head, and through a good cab ive havent heard much better, i love the clean channel, i keep the gain down on the second and drive it hard with a couple of pedals and its amazing, dont really use the effects loop, but i like this amp better then matchless(c-30, lightning, clubman) and bad cats(cub 2, hot cat) ive played

Almost every tube amp with some reverb and playng a bluesy solo sounds good. try to play something differnt, chords, other music styles... this demo doesn't said me so much... at all

Uhh...no. Shitty amps sound shitty. Good amps sound good. Doesn't matter the style. It's the clarity of the notes..the dynamics and sustain of the amp...the list goes on.

@AndyBaylor Yes you are right but if somone is playing a line with simple notes then it doesn't shows what the amp is able to. I'd like to hear that faboulous amp on clean tones, crunch,... soloing and playing some chords. Each amp responds different depeding on the style. IMHO.

I've got another vid of the amp showing different tones. It was hard to capture the open sound of the amp though...might be the mic pre I used. The cleans are stunning. Like a piano. If you get a chance, check one out.

@AndyBaylor Thanks for the link i didn't see that video before. There's more info so i can "imagine" a little bit of this amps. I don't understand why there's no more information (videos) on the net as it is suposed to be a top amplifier by Mark Sampson. I hope to get the chance to hear one in person. Thanks

Yeah..thats a good question. This line has never taken off like Matchless. Kind of sad...but with so much stuff out these days, it's easy to get lost in the fray. If you play one, post about it! I'd like to get your impression on it. Thanks - AB
