  • Cool!!

  • This is actually the most memorable brickfilm I have ever seen. It was remarkable in almost every aspect, I can't even describe how much I enjoyed this, it was just amazing. Very clean animation, a simple, yet extroardinarily well-created film... I would really like to see more films set in the era of Vikings, Bulldog, great job! :)

  • i looked it up, many helmets did have the horns. they were even sharp. they actually used their helmets as weapons if they lost their others

my teacher also told me this

  • then your teacher is wrong about that because the archeologists has'nt found any helmets with horns and i live in sweden so i probably know a little more about vikings than you

  • @blubbersmith Then your teacher must be incompetent

  • i love those peasents

  • that was awesome!!!!11

  • Why is americans always so mean to us Swedish?? WHY!?

  • What i mean by that is most of the vikings where from Norway.

  • Just ignore that, ok. I lost track of where i was going with that

  • Bakas, there were PLENTY of Swedish vikings! However, most of their efforts were directed eastward along the Baltic and into what we now call Russia. The Norwegians pillaged west and south, where many eventually carved out fiefdoms. The Danes generally struck west with the intention of settlement as well as plunder. End of history lesson...:)

  • I said that you should ignore that!

  • not bad

  • 5/5 awesome

were some of the helmets clay

  • Yes, some of the helmets were made with Polymer clay.

  • Vikings burn ships

  • very nice

  • Yo! Jason, i've read on your website that this was going to have mouth animation like in the trailer. Since your coumputer crashed down why didn't you remember to do a specal edition of it with the mouth animation? you should do that now.

  • Awesome!

  • The vikings didnt call there preists fathers.

  • wow tht was eeemazing!

  • this is better than final fantasy!

  • Nice to see someone thats doing a movie about Sweden.

    I am from Sweden! :)

  • That's awesome, coollotr55! I've always thought it would be neat to visit Sweden someday.

  • Great! I'm happy that you find interest in Sweden! :)

  • Yeah, Visit Sweden, i'm from Sweden!

  • cool i like vikings.

  • Anakin Kenobi!

  • y is it called "The battle of Bjorn Ironside"

Its about Quelf the bloody not bjorn ironside

    I love the video though

    My fave so far

  • I'm not really satisfied with the title, which seems to suggest a film with a larger battle. If I made the film now, I'd probably call it something more fitting, like "Quelf"

  • You shoulda won that competition!!!

    Deadly animation!

  • I read that you took one frame with, then one without...Ect to make the ghost effect.

I tried but it didn't work. So how many fps did you use?

  • Benjimonji, did you put the frames together in an editing program (such as photoshop or the gimp), and change the opacity of the frames WITH the ghost figure, so he's transparent? It works for me.

The fps I always use is 15 frames-per-second. I started out doing 10fps, but all of my films uploaded on YouTube are 15fps.

  • Relay cool! But how'd you make those swords?

  • I bought the swords. They're from some Mega Bloks dragon sets.

  • That was a good tale. A great twist. But how did you do the Ghost?

  • Making a ghost effect is simple; for every frame that the minifigure is in, you take a frame without the minifig, and then put them together and change the opacity of the frames with the minifig, so you can see slightly through him.

  • Thanks, just a Question, what software did you use to do all of that technical but very cool stuff.

  • The program I use to do most of my effects is called 'The Gimp.' I used another program called 'Axogon Composer' to do the lightning.

  • that is the best lego movie i have ever seen man fuck u got some animation skills!

  • Awesome man!

  • didn´t see such videos before, totally great! Keep it up :-) Maximilian.

  • You're a pretty good voice acter!! Very unique!!

  • cool

  • That was good man

  • Thanks. I sculpted the helmets out of Fimo polymer clay, which gets hard when baked. I based the size and shape on the LEGO Viking helmets.

  • how do you make those helmets from clay your good:)

  • That was 1 of the best lego movies iv'e seen:-)

  • I'm glad you liked it.

  • good clay hair
