Musically, this piece of music is possibly the best the Beatles ever produced. I remember the German Philarmonic Orchestra maestro...."masterpiece", "brilliant", "unbelieveable"...... and so on. Put words to it... better?? Perhaps. A song like many other Beatle productions, however, this one is top shelf for sure. How genius.
1966-67 was probably the best creative years for Paul as a Beatle - Sgt. Pepper and MMT were mainly "his" albums, although John had some brilliant songs there too and also George contributed (sadly he was allowed far less than he could). It were also the last two albums they really did "together", then the magic started to fade :(
