Genetics experiments have proven that you can create a specific breed or race from an original pair, and also has proven that you cannot create a new species from two different species because there isn't a seed for a new species. Each species has a unique set of common ancestors which is exactly what the Bible has said all along. Not only that, but backtracking through population growth historically and archaeologically points to the great flood as the beginning of the current population.
