This is a very light, glib analysis and disapointing for your channel. It doesn't even comment on China's perspective on all this. We know that China is increasingly influencing North Korean elitist economic thought but no comments on this following the leader's death? We know that Kim Jong Il's chosen heir is not ready for sole leadership so what combine of leadership and other influences will be there in in the meantime? Expected more from your channel
@MaxGravitas Expected more of what you wanted to hear. This analyst expressed reality, and did a superb job doing so. If you're so convinced that Kim Jong Un is a figurehead or that they are all beholden to China, make your own video instead of complaining about other videos being not enough of an echo chamber for you.
Me and my friends rap dissed Kim Jong Il in korean and in english!! Make that motherfucker burn in hell, Spread the word!!! (( /watch?v=nGtQk-DwHrw ))
Good that this animal has died, he was drinking $500 French wine while his citizens were starving to death. This motherfucker died because of too much food and too much alcohol. DEATH TO THE NORTH KOREANS AND THEIR CHINESE SUPPORTERS. fuck u chinese commie pigs.
Maybe it is too easily simplified by this, but one would get the idea that the 3rd generation, especially if educated in the west, would be holding on to elite status not out of true belief in communism as much as the motivation of elitist entitlement. Some have said that Kim Jung Il's death could be a good thing or bad thing, but I say it could be the same bad thing as when he was alive or it could be worse. As long as their has been royalty their have been power struggles over inheritance.
Kim Jong Un looks well feed, chubby, plump like a roast pig. We know now who took all the food at the dinner table. Maybe he should share some of the food with his countrymen.
@David51895 Nope. The people are to insulated to know anything about the outside world and how badly they are off. The only people who might know are the elites but the elites are steadfastly loyal to the current system. It may mean somebody else taking over and displacing jong un in the name of Kim Il Sung. Too risky for the people on top to reform like the PRC. A power struggle within the party may be in the offing.

Start, what do you think Kim's other two sons will do, as well as the daughter who i find to be a very capable leader.
Everyone here is aware that the U.N praised the NK health care right.

RT footage of Pyongyang's reaction to the death. It's amazing how such a terrible leader could be praised like this.
