@abthurd No, hopefully, you don't need to die first ;) When you breathe, you breathe the air first and then you expire. At this time your lungs don't have enough air in to make you float. Of Course, if you try to walk underwater with lungs full of oxygen, i'ts gonna be hard ;)

People have gone much deeper, both william Trubridge and Nery have been recorded going much deeper past 100m in depth, Trubridges actual academy resides in the waters of Deans Blue Hole so is regularly used.
