Fine movie, much underrated. Two of my cousins are from a refugee German family, just about the right age to have been Swing Kids had they stayed. I'm sort of glad their parents emigrated (escaped) when they did.

For years i heard this song and never noticed it till this movie.Bought the soundtrack and heard an excellent reproduction of it in stereo ,when all i heard before was scratchy monotones. Man this rocks ,the overriding and conflicticting melodies working with and against each other building up in intensity,when i blast it on my headphones it has me in convulsions. This was the heavy metal of its day ,no wonder adults were concerned ! Love this song and this recording of it ...SWING HEIL !
