what we should do is go back to having the state legislatures vote for their national representatives. This eliminates the incentive for the federals to try and buy votes with handouts and favorable legislation. It also refocuses the individual citizens on their state level elections which are far more important.

It's funny. If a Colorado citizen dares challenge or question a Democratic politician he or she is criticized. They go after bloggers. They go after misinformed people who put up billboards. In my experience, local democrats name and slander the family members of tax activists in public forums. So long as our politicians can harass the common citizen, it will be hard to hold them accountable.
Why hasnt anyone call out this stimulus money and tarp funds? The Banks still aren't lending and GM has gone Bankrupt where has all of this money gone and how has it help? With all of these programs came the promise of drecreased spending in areas of government all I have seen is more programs added and zero cuts. That money could have gone to improving the infrustructure this would create jobs improve our failing bridges and roads way...
