Mod Manager auto starts everytime i turn on the wii while my sd card is in. When I press the home button to exit it just resets the mod manager. I've installed the wads from this video but do I still need the contents of this SD card to continue to part 3 of the tutorial?

@ipodhackskid press the top 2 buttons on the wii (power and reset of course) in a pattern: press power button 3 times then press reset button 2 times when ur on the menu that says wii homebrew settings etc

Sorry if i came off like a jerk but i have tried all these wii tutorials for like a week now only to end up needing a WBFS manager-which is mainly all pc based and the one i did find for the mac was not the same (for playing games off your external). I might go back to putting windows on my mac. Thanks anyways.

I verified the sums for the ModPack-AnyWii file, but three were errors.

1) bootmii/armboot.bin

2) bootmii/bootmii.ini

3) bootmii/ppcboot.elf

The error for all of them was "Checksum did not match."

@AnthonyfromAandK Its because, after upgrade 4.1 the other upgrades were meant to remove the homebrew channel, and BRICK your wii if you already had it installed. I believe that before 4.2 you didnt need a game to install Homebrew. Thats why you if your wii tells you that theres a new update availible for your wii software, do not accept it can damage your wii.

4.1 isn't the best. 4.2 is just as good. Priiloader enables Homebrew channel to be kept on 4.2 and 4.3 also

@DxHowTo its not extra work mate, priiloader is simple to install and once appropriate hacks are enabled and saved, you never need to go into it again, unless you brick. I prefer 4.2 as its more updated with IOS's and only ios57,58 are missing from 4.3. Again these two wads are easily manually installed through Pimpmy wii or through NUS downlaoder. The only good thing about 4.1 as you said is bannerbomb is always available (more longer than 4.2 SD menu) but 4.1 is missing more IOS's. each to own
