The advantages to being a partner is that you get extra features on your channel page. If you notice on mine I have a banner and a couple extra images. As a partner you get paid a very small amount.

i understand completely. it is all a part of the creative experience. LOL i had to redo 3 of my vids b/c they were flagged re: music. (sad face). but the owners of the copyrights were within their claim to pull them. I was just salty b/c the decision was based on lack of high hits. LOL perhaps if the vids were VIRAL, they would see the profitability in allowing the usage. but bottom $, i get it. my vids didn't have the same vibe w/o the orig music, but oh well, gotta abide by rules.
