this the north staates had a tremendous push in soldiers. Still it was a very unclear battle, and the south states still were strong and might as well have won the civil war. Many decisions and in the end also luck determinded the outcome, both sides were pretty equally strong, even after lincoln decided to grant blacks full rights.
So the reason why the south states lost the civil war was mainly because of lincolns decision to give blacks full rights.

If you walk into a gun store run by responsible people (just about impossible to find an irrisponsibe gun store owner) delusional and crazy you will not walk out with a gun. pretty sure they run background checks too.

@MrCoyoteculler An assault rifle is fully automatic. An assault weapon can literally be anything. If I throw my pen at you, it is now an assault weapon (by any rational definition). Now according to the Libs' definition, my Ruger 10/22 is an "assault weapon," but my S&W .357 magnum, my two Remington 700's (.270 and .308) and my Steyr SBS (700 rem mag) are not. That is until I have my .308's muzzle threaded for a brake and get a detachable magazine. It's completely ludicrous.
