  • 4:29 Harry... O.O ...me gusta...

  • Wow, OBatR sound great!

  • I was 10 when i first read harry potter and there was no looking back.It became a part of my life. It taught me all the lessons of life.

  • This song makes me cry.

  • What is the picture from 1:30 from? I love it.

  • Harry Potter taught me how to read. When I was in kindergarden, my mom read them to me before I went to bed and I was absolutely hooked. but she couldn't be constantly reading to me so she got me the books on tape from the library. I followed along in the books until I didn't need the audiobook. I can hardly remember a time when I was not avidly awaiting something Potter, and it feels odd not knowing when I will get to put on my Ravenclaw tie again. Thank you Harry, for my childhood.

  • I actually got hooked on the Harry Potter Series when almost all of the movies were out, but still I was still connected with Harry, Ron, and Hermione. I mostly was related to Hermione because I was a book- worm, and all of that. But if I could have just 1 wish in my whole entire life would be to have Harry Potter real. To get a Hogwarts letter, and actually see where you truly are, it would be amazing. I just wish I had more time when I was younger to realize how much Harry Potter would change-

  • @PeterWendy8816 Me. Thank J.K. Rowling :)

  • I didn't grow up with the ideal life. Harry Potter gave me hope. I wished like crazy for me to get a letter when I was 11, to get me out of my house. It, of course, never happened, but Harry Potter & his journey got me through everything. This series allowed me to escape the life I had to live in exchange for something magical and incredible, at least for a little while. Harry, Ron, Hermione & everyone else will live in my heart forever.

  • Harry Potter is the most beautiful thing that has come into my life. People in my life, family, friends, boyfriends, loved ones, come and go. But I know that Harry, Ron and Hermione will always be there for me, whenever I need it, just at the turn of a page. Thank you, JK Rowling, not just for a story, but for my childhood, for my comfort and most of all, for the happiness that you have brought me. Thank you so much. <3

  • yeah... i may or may not be crying my eyes out right now...

  • ok people.. you're taking this harry potter thing way tooo far !

  • @Burningrosepetals no we arent

  • @fieldhockyluver12 um yeah its just a fake movie with dumb effects its stupid to obsess over something thats not even real

  • @Burningrosepetals It's not a just a movie. For many, including me, Harry Potter has been something we've looked forward to for our entire childhood. It's the end of something that we've treasured for a very long time, made all the closer by the fact that many of us who started reading the books when we were 8 or 9 or whatever, are now growing up and it's like our childhood is ending at the same time as Harry Potter is.

  • @Burningrosepetals It isn't just a movie. Firstly, Harry Potter originated from a book series. Secondly, Harry Potter is a rock. It's something that has been with us since some of us were five. It helps us through the hardest times with its strong messages of hope, love and the thought that if you fight hard enough, you can achieve anything.

  • @AbiDF2007 Ok yeah i understand that but its over and some people just need to accept that fact

  • @Burningrosepetals Taking it too far? We've already taken it farther than you'll ever know. And we're proud.

  • @ScrltPhoenix Proud to announce your additcted to the fake world of harry potter and graphics? Ok then..

  • I started reading Harry Potter when I was 9 when my mom bought me the box set with the first four books. Needless to say, I fnished all four within a month and had been a loyal fan since then. I'm now 19 and still loyal to the fandom.

  • Harry Potter was the first novel I ever read. I was in the first grade, I think, and it seemed REALLY thick for me at that time. I only read books with pictures, comic books and stuff, until I picked up Harry Potter and got addicted. I love them all! Now I'm 18 and with the end of the HP era, my childhood has ended too..

  • I feel so lost right now. I wish I was one student at Hogwarts.

  • "I will miss the train ride in

And the pranks pulled by the twins

And though it’s no where I have been

I’ll keep on smiling from the times I had with them"

That's always where I start sobbing.

  • I turn 22 this year. I literally grew up with the trio. When Harry found out he was a wizard, I was Ginny's age. Each book, each year, we all aged together.

looking at the numbers, I would enter Hogwarts just after the wars. Those that were in 4th year back then would be the 7th years that would regale their stories by the fireplace at night. I would enter Hogwarts when the castle was not in ruins, but not yet completely rebuild either. We would grow together. The magic would never end.

  • When I'm forty I'm still keeping these books

  • so many things have ended for me this year, i turned 18 so my childhood ended, i left school forever and harry potter, and to me all these things are my childhood and harry potter is the thing i can always go back to and relive it as i will never be able to go back in time to the others, long live harry potter <3

  • This is definitely not the end, but I do feel lost! Even though I know that Harry Potter will be with us forever, I must admit to sobbing through this song. The end of the Harry Potter series and all the movies has literally taught me what the phrase "end of an era" means. We can only keep them in our hearts, because every character, book, and film deserves that. Hogwarts will always be home. Mischief managed.

  • 5 people read twilight

  • i seriously cant stop crying knowing this is seriously the end...my childhood is over! i remember reading the first book back when i was idk 8? reading all the book and seeing all the movies in the theaters...goodbye harry potter.. and JK Rowljng thank you for teaching me about friendship and family..you will always be in my heart and hogwarts will always be there to welcome me

  • Good job! =) A very nice tribute to our favorite witch and wizards!

  • I just can't stop crying...

  • My mother and me used to read the books together when I was younger, always in the evenings. And I always was like "aww.. mum another chapter, it's so exciting right now!!" and it became later xD and I was so tired the next day in school, but happy :D Harry Potter won't end, until we let it end!!! <3

  • I can't believe part 2 is comming out tonight.

The last movie's not really the end, though. We've still got Pottermore after this. and then maybe the encyclopedia.

And besides, Harry Potter will only be gone when none here are loyal to him.

  • Ive been listening to this pretty much the whole day. Off to see the last movie in about six hours.

    Long live Harry potter!

  • When I was in 6th grade my English teacher started reading the first book to my class but right when she got to where Hagrid gets to to Harry that he is a wizard the book got banned at my school. I was so upset that she gave me detention. At the end of detention i went outside and she had put the book in my backpack :) She got me hooked on them, and I have never looked back since. I am so sad that the 15th is the last day.

  • @TheBrightEyes0509 That is such a lovely story (':

  • @TheBrightEyes0509 That is such a great story! What an amazing teacher.

  • @TheBrightEyes0509 awesome teacher.

  • @TheBrightEyes0509

I'm so glad you put this. Thank you.

  • To not put this song in the end credits of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2 would be an insult to harry potter music. I wish they would, it just about sums up every Harry Potter fans feelings about "the end" including me :.(

  • To not put this song in the end credits of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2 would be an insult to harry potter music. I wish they would, it just about sums up every Harry Potter fans feelings about "the end" including me :.(

  • I got Harry Potter 1-3 as a Christmas present when I was 6. Best present I will ever get. I read all three of them and anxiously waited for the 4th while going to the premiere of the 1st movie. I've learned so many life lessons from Harry Potter and more importantly, even though I was reading before Harry Potter, JK Rowling helped me realize my dreams of being an author. 11 years later... and none of this has changed. I'll miss the anxious summers of waiting for Harry Potter to come out.

  • I hated to read until I was 12 and Harry Potter is the reason why I love to now. Now I have read each more times than I can count. Harry Potter is so much more than a story or set of books. I have fallen in love with it; the characters, plot, message, alll of it. J.K. Rowling is perhaaps the best writer ever. The detail she put into it makes me awestruck. I hope to have half her talent when I get older.

This era shall never end because of the fans that love it.

  • I love them i'll keep them in my heart!

Harry Potter is a part of me <3

  • It will never end for any of us. Potterheads forever! It will never end. Not really.

  • Halfway through, tears. I can't.

  • I remember when i was little, I was watching (without knowing) either the first or second movie. I was so little, but I know that was the reason I am who I am now. A few months ago, I went flying on my broom barefoot outside my house, Sorcerers Stone (the book) in hand. Just a year ago, I was old enough to understand Harry Potter and the books. I wish I had watched the movies more often then, but instead I watch them almost every night. It's so much more than a story. Long live Harry Potter :)

  • This is so sad. 13 July i will cry :(

  • The closer we get to the end, the more unreal this feels.

  • It wont end. There's to much money in it, there will be a "second generation" bunch of books. Its like the star wars franchise. its going to take DECADES for it to stop...

  • Thank you J.K Rowling, you have created my purpose to the life

  • Comment removed

  • this is sooooooooo sad!!!

  • I will be reading these books yearly and watching the movies whenever i can

  • Harry Potter will never be gone! Not as long as those who remain are loyal to him!

This song is so toching! makes me sad every time I hear it... :'(

  • Love this song! Go check out 'marchin on by Harry potter' first choice, & spread it around so it can play @ the end of DH2

  • Amazing! I can't believe that Harry Potter is going to end this July 15. It will be like a part of me is gone I know that. It's hard to believe that something that has been around for 13 years is ending so soon. But I guess it's like Dumbledore said, "It's never really Good-bye after all." Everyone who has loved Harry Potter will have the books, movies, songs and memeries with them forever! At least that's what I think and feel. Thank you soooo much JKR, the music groups and AccioJellyBeans.

  • "It was real. It did happen. We spent time here and made friends here and that’s a part of us. Hogwarts is bigger than all of us. It’s bigger than any of its founders. And it’s going to be around long after we’re gone. Maybe we’ll see our kids come here. That’s the thing about Hogwarts: no matter how long you’re away from it, there’s always a way back."

I'll be there for you at the last movie too. Wow.

  • This song makes my heart hurt :(

  • @moonlitnight amen to that </3

  • but thats just it it will never end as long as those who are loyal to the series no the life remain

  • ...now I'm secretly hoping that there's a separate magic school in the US that starts at age 14. ;)

  • @blackkjackk13 Ha, can it have a grad school?

  • When I was eleven and older, I was always waiting for my acceptance letter to hogwarts.

  • @TheKiri997 that's exactly how I feel. This made me cryy

  • I...I'm not good enough with english to explain what I feel right now. I thinks I couldn't say it in Italian neither. It's so beautyful... Harry Potter made a era. I grew up with J.K.Rowling and her little Chosen One with his friends ^^ And now, in 2011, when the 2nd part of the last film is next to come.... It's something like a goodbye. But for those who love Harry it's also a promise.. like "we'll meet again". I sound a bit crazy but that's a part of what I feel...

  • @TheKiri997 That's a beautiful thought

  • @TheKiri997 Quoto in pieno ç_ç

  • @AryYuna Non so spiegarmi molto bene XD ma credo che nemmeno in italiano ci sarei riuscita... ç.ç

  • @TheKiri997 Ihihih, è vero, è difficile esprimere come mi sento...

  • @chodeycodey13 leakycon is going to be amazing! i can't wait.

  • Anyone goin to Leakycon?I am.look forward to meeting you guys

  • I LOVE YOU HP... DON'T LEAVE MY LIFE D:

  • When I was 10 I would get busted for reading HP in class. At the end of the day, the teacher would come up to me and say: "Even if I should confiscate this, I would be failing as a teacher for taking a book away from you."

  • this song really made me want to cry !!!!! my mum kept having to hide the books from me coz i wouldnt piut them down !!!!! i feel like a part of their friendship when and when im not reading the books :) <3 HP forever.!!!!

p.s did any one else notice at 4:12 thatrupert is wearing a t shirt the has a picture of harry potter on it lol !!!! he must be a loyal friend.

  • i love this song! i actually got a little choked up when i first heard it. i am so sad the series ended. whenever i read the books, i felt like i was standing right next to them.

</3 i'll miss you, hogwarts crew! *sniff*

  • This is one of my favourite wrock songs. I was 6 years old when the first book came out in the netherlands. Everytime a new book came out, my mum had to take it away to make me go to sleep. I grew up with Harry Potter and to me it's so much more than just a story.

  • Something that depresses me more than anything is the fact that JK Rowling will die within my lifetime. Love her -3 x 100000000

  • @Lorelei97 My god I didn't even think of that.. That day.. will be a day of unbearable sorrow for me.. Crap :(

  • U guys are the best this is beautiful!!! -3 Whenever I'm having a crap day and feel worthless I take out my HP books and it's like coming home. -3 forever

  • I'm a tough sorta person but watching this at home alone - where no one understands HP as I do...I just sat crying! I started reading at four or five - I'm fourteen now and Harry just feels like my brother and I will NEVER ever let the magic die!

  • I crie d I'm crying and I'll always cry! That's all I need to say! Harry potter made my life!

  • I was eleven when I read the first book, and nineteen years old (and engaged) when Deathly Hallows came out.

Harry Potter WAS my life for those years - the fan fic, the music, the forums, the wacky theories (Dumbledore is a Time-traveling Ron!!!), the community... the magic.

  • I just started bawling my eyes out. I've already said that I know I'm going to be in the movie theatre for at least an hour later, crying harder than I ever had before. Harry Potter has and always will be such a big part of my life.

  • Thumbs up if Harry will always be real for you <3

  • this is proof that there is no god. If there was....then Harry Potter would never end! :(

  • If they -don't- play this as the credits roll in DH pt2, I'll play it on my phone or something as we exit the cinema. I need this song to play after I watch the last 'official' part of the Harry Potter story is released.

  • what did u use to make this.?

  • I think it's wonderful how Harry Potter isn't just a story to kids, but it also talks about love.. amazing.

  • Please guys, if all of you are really serious about wanting to have this song playing at the end credits of DH pt 2... go to google and type in: ipetition end of an era

... it should be the first one.

    AND SIGN!!!!!!!

Let's give Harry Potter and JK the ending that they deserve

  • i'm not really a crier,in fact i only cried 3 times in my life but this made me cry the 4th time. When i listened to this song the things happened on my life with Harry Potter's movie flashed back right before my eyes and that made me realize that i'm grown up now,i grew up with HP i watched HP & Sorcerer's Stone when i was 3 and now i'm turning 14 when i watch HP & Deathly Hallows.I can't find exact words to describe how i feel right now.I'm like happy and sad cuz' HP is goin' to end...

  • ***keep Harry Potter going after the movies are gone

  • I know everyone is saying that Harry Potter is ending, but the is a load of crap. It is stuff like this that keeps HP alive, all the fan art, music and stories. Not to mention Harry Potter clubs and websites. All of that will kep

  • This is the best series I've ever read and the movies are all absolutely amazing. JK Rowling is incredible and this series has personally effected me a lot. It's crazy that there's actually a theme park section in Universal now all about Harry Potter that I was happy to go to the first day it opened. Even after the last movie comes out, Harry Potter will always be a special part of my life and of the lives of teens & adults across the world. JK Rowling, you rock!

  • I wish J.K. Rowling would watch/listen to this, and read the comments, I don't think she knows just how important these books are to people of all ages all around the world. Maybe if a bunch of us send her letters or e-mails or something to try and get her to listen to some Wizard Rock, especially this band, she will actually listen. Somebody should start this, haha.

  • how do i download this song i can't find it on itunes or rhapsody

  • i belive, as the series has grown, so have we, the ones who have been with harry right from the start <3 nothing will ever be the same without him- everyone, wands up...lumos...

  • honey, its 10pm, where are you going? on a killing spree. what on earth- " 5 people disliked end of an era" thats saying they wont remember J Rowling! say no more, ill get my car keys :)

  • I sobbed. Like a child actually. An entire saga of my life is coming to a close. My entire childhood was circled around Harry Potter and now the year I turn 18 is the year Harry Potter is ending. What symbolism!

  • If we all want to actually do something about getting this song on the credits for DH part 2, then go to google and type in: ipetition end of an era... (it should be the first link) and SIGN!!!!!

Let's give this awesomer than awesome series a proper farewell <3

  • I can't help but feel so empty right now.

    Haha =[

  • i will NEVER say goodbye becaus Harry will be with us forever :')

it will be VERY bittersweet to watch those last credits roll but it has been on heck of a journey and was worth every single minute :) but i dont think it will hit us until a year later or a couple of months when there is no HP film/book to look forward to :')

    LONG LIVE HARRY POTTER!!

  • PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE

Go on Google and type in: ipetition end of an era....... hopefully if enough of us sign the petition, this wonderful, beautiful and APPROPRIATE song can be played during the end credits of DH Part 2. I know we can do it <3

  • So many tearrrs <3

  • I can't even imagine what it will be like when its gone, and I don't think I'll ever have to. This mea so much to me that I don't think it will ever go away in my mind. This beautiful series written by a beautiful woman has given me so much hope, so much love, that I never knew I had. I can never thank her enough for what she's given me.

  • :'( It will never really be gone!!!

  • this makes me want to cry..:(

  • Just watched DH part one, and now I'm listening to this and you know what?

I cant let go. This is what I grew up in, and I will be forever thankful for growing up when I did even if it sucked in many ways. Harry Potter made it all worth it.

  • this should be the song in part 2 credits :(

  • no harry potter fan can NOT like this.

  • This made me cry. </3

I will miss Harry Potter so much when it's over.

  • It would be so, so great if this song was played during the credits of Deathly Hallows, Part 2 as a tribute to all of the fans that have stuck with Harry until the very end. I think that it would a good acknowledgment of how much this series has meant to an entire generation of people. If you agree, please sign a petition to get this song in the credits-- youtube won't let me post a link, so just google "ipetition end of an era" and it should be the top result. Thank you!

  • @aemanuels Signed :3

  • I turn 23 on Friday. Harry Potter has been in my life for over a decade- I grew up alongside the Trio and left home permanently just after Deathly Hallows was released. I don't ever want this to end, because then I'll have to be a proper adult :P

  • I can't say how much the Harry Potter series mean to me. I saw the movie the 17th and surprisingly i only cried once, but now today i started crying like hell, I don't know why, but I had to. Harry Potter can not be compared to any story ever, hopefully the magic will never end, and our grandchildren and their grandchildren will study Harry Potter in school and love the series too.

    The magic will never end.

  • I just saw the movie last night, and it hit me... Guys, we're coming down the final home stretch of the series that's been a home and escape and uniter for all of us. We've got one more movie left, and it's over. Of course, it shall never truly be over unless none here are loyal to it. And we will be. Harry Potter has given us so much, and we'll never abandon him.

  • It is actually hting me right now that it really is ending...and i'm about to cry T_T i saw the movie yesterday...and im realley happy i grew up reading to those amazing books and watching the movies : )

  • i had to listen to this before i went to see Deathly Hallows , now i am happy to leave (:

  • Oh gods I'm crying!

  • Leaving for DH in a half hour. I couldn't leave the house without crying to this song :'(

  • Leaving for DH in a half hour. I couldn't leave the house without crying to this song :'(

  • what's awesome about harry potter is taht it created an entire family. even though we don't know each other, we already have this special bond together as Harry Potter fans and i don't think nothing could ever break that. we all have the same hearts which beat the same as Harry's and we've all had at least one strand of Hermione's wavy hair and we've been scared of spiders at least once in our lives.

harry potter changed us and the world. i'm glad i was born in the Harry Potter generation

  • hard to let go...

  • I'm legitimately crying right now. This is my entire childhood.

    Also: I have a wand /now/. :'''D

  • OMFG!!! 1:30, cutest thing EVER!!!

  • saw DH yesterday. Now when I listen to this, I cry like a freaking baby!

  • I'm so glad I was born in the nineties and could experience this series from the beginning.

  • It's really beautiful, I cried a lot ... this song was deep in my heart. Congratulations, the best world music.

  • GOD! I'm sinked in tears!!! =') very good work!! a perfect video for the moment!

  • it was sad when the 7th book came out but when Deathly Hallows part 2 comes out im gonna start crying and i dont care who sees

  • this song makes me cry.

  • errr....WHAT AM I GOING TO LOOK FORWARD TO NOW!

  • This is special to many people. For me I feel like I grew up with Harry, Ron and Hermoine. Thumb up if you had a "wand" at one time or another!

  • @kessingerjohnny Still do ;D

    Always will.

  • @kessingerjohnny My parents refused to buy my brother and I wands from Allivan's, so we resorted to using long wooden spoons and knife sharpeners to "duel." <3

  • @kessingerjohnny Still do

  • @kessingerjohnny I chucked the most awesome one I had, too, because I thought I had found a better one! It was the right size for a wand and it had a knob for your thumb! I used to run around outside and pretend I was in Harry Potter. I miss it. I miss it, and it's not over. Yet. But it's almost there. It's almost over. I cannot believe that Harry Potter is seriously almost over.

  • @kessingerjohnny I have a wand in my lap right now...

  • @kessingerjohnny I still have mine... :)

  • @kessingerjohnny Thumbs up if you still have a wand and keep it on your bed stand when you sleep just in case, and you have your trunk all packed waiting in front of your bed, and your house robes, tie, and scarf hang in your closet, and still believe that you will be accepted to Hogwarts- its just that your owl got lost, and speaking of owls, you actually study for the O.W.L.s, and you actually mourned at the death of some of the characters, and u love HP w/ all of your heart.

  • i love this song, i really want to cry but i can't its just stuck there

  • Oh my gosh. We siriusly have the best fandom EVERRR. Nobody can touch this. The sad thing is, all good things must come to an end. I can't exactly imagine my life after the last movie. No more countdowns. No more anticipation. No more releases. Everything out there for us, and that's it? :(

  • @swimmersgirl Don't worry, it's never going to end for the true fans, for us. We always will have Harry Potter.

  • the lyrics of this song is so true, Harry Potter has been my life for the past 10 years i am deffoently going to cry at the revealing of the last moving , Harry Potter is a world phenomanin and nothing will ever replace it

  • At 4:08 they deserve that. i'm glad they'll always be marked in society as great actors and a great series!

  • all fans should memorize this song..then at the end of the final movie....end of credits.. start singing it and see who else knows it! would be amazing if all fans in diff theatres around the world broke out into this song!

  • I can't believe how soon it will be over. It just seems so strange.

I will bawl my eyes out when it's over.

  • i'm kind of glad the 2 movies are spaced so far apart so i can prepare myself. im definatley bringing a box of tissues. to both. long live HP thank you JK Rowling for giving me such an important piece of my childhood.

  • this makes me cry so much... its hard to explain how i feel :(

  • :')

  • i'm crying so much.

  • I think the beauty of Harry Potter, the thing that makes it what it is, isn't just the amazing story or the films. It's the fandom. The people who stay up all night to read a new volume. The wizard rockers who play concerts in libraries and book stores. The groups of friends talking about what will happen next. Most series don't have that, at least to this extent. As long as we stay together, and to let the bonds of friendship HP gave us grow stronger, then it will never be over.

  • @slytherpuff101 sorry about that. I accidentally voted your comment down instead of up. 100000000 times, up.

  • After the last movie it's done *burst into tears* Well at least for the next 20 years or so, then they'll have to either remaster the movies to fit out our new technology, or they remake the movies all together.

  • I feel as if I'll be saying goodbye to dear old friends in July. I'm classified as the weird kid at school, not with many friends, but I knew on weekends I could come home and watch or read Harry. I'll never let this go. Ever. "So don't you ever wonder, what will happen when it ends."
