  • damn nature, you scary

  • It's called Cavitation: /watch?feature=endscreen&NR=1&v=nP-l0Lgp4J4

  • this should be a pokemon

  • @spaceninja516 This IS a pokemon. Water pulse!

  • 1:17 "Oh hello there Mr. Scuba camera! Welcome to my home under the se!-"

  • Sweet!

  • @xMadFaceProductionsx Nature's creatures**

  • God's creatures are amazing

  • Fus Ro Claw!

  • Supa hot fiya.... Shrimp

  • This is officially my new, favorite shrimp.

  • @TheBalefire The entire video talks about cavitation as well. It's part of a documentary called BBC Invisible World. As for your claim, please provide a source for your statement.

  • stupid video. The damage doesn't come from the heat, which only exists for a tiny fraction of a second, the damage comes from the pressure wave from the collapsing bubble. Creating bubbles by changing the pressure is called cavitation, and the same thing causes damage to propellers if they operate at too high of speeds. The collapsing air bubble causes pressure waves and water jets powerful enough to chip away the metal.

  • whaaaaaaaat

  • So, If you were underwater and put your hand right next to It's claw as It clapped (shot, banged, snapped, whatever you want to call it) would It feel like you'd been burned?

  • IN THEIR TIME, HE IS MOVAKIIN, MUDCRAB-BORN.

  • krabby! bubble attack!

  • what a brilliant idea to make supersonic shock wave weaponry...

  • we need to develop a weapon for submarines similar to this

  • @The0Burger0King what for? weapons we made are made for killing... for wars. Do you really want war? We dont need war we need peace

  • What happened the Hammond's voice?

  • the heat is only momentary. doesn't last long at all. The real kicker is the sound produced, which is around 291 db's (or 219) which is enough to instantly kill the cells in our ear. Again its only momentary. BUT THE REAL KICKER HERE is actually the shockwave produced which is so strong that i can stun/kill its prey. It can even mess up submarines (ya know, all dem signals and stuff... not the metal hull)

  • So does that mean if you have that as a pet, then it does that attack and you touch the water, you get burned? Or does it feel the same?

  • Why do larger animals not have this?

it would make them kick so much ass

  • bust a bubble in yo ass

  • not slow enuf!!!

  • Damn nature's awesome! Pretty sure god didn't make that!

  • THIS IS NO ORDINARY BUBBLE! lmao

  • its not really a bubble, its a vacuum created when the water moves too fast for the surrounding water to replace it. nature doesnt like vacuums so as soon as its created the thousands of tons of water above it collapses into the vacuum and thats where all the energy comes from.

  • @ihmen Thank you for that intelligent and enlightening comment.

  • @MattShea369 lol its not intelligent, im just letting everyone know what the scientists and researches have to say about why and how this happens, so no creationist will come on here and claim that their deity is the one doing it.

  • @ihmen lol, modest too I see. Well, thank you for your not intelligent comment.

  • If its a vacuum, it does not make any waves like that.

  • @h87414 okay if its not a vacuum then explain whats inside the bubble.

  • @ihmen Then it would be water vapour. AKA steam. And then the pressure of the water about would compress it back into a liquid.

  • @MattShea369 if it were steam the bubble wouldn't collapse on itself, it would float to the surface, ever blow a bubble under water in a pool? and if you say the massive depth of the water is enough to make a bubble collapse then look at how underwater methane bubbles float to the surface and dont collapse.

  • @ihmen I would think, based on my knowledge, that methane bubbles would be much stronger because it is in a gas form at room temperates, whereas steam is a liquid at room temperature, and water is really cold. That's just a guess.

  • @MattShea369 unfortunately guesses from random teenagers don't hold much ground in science.

  • @ihmen I'm doing a biochemistry degree in university, so I think it's an educated guess.

  • @ihmen I'm doing a biochemistry degree in university, so I think it's an educated guess.

  • Fake!!Fire Attacks deals less amount of damage to water type pokemons!

  • As hot as the sun? Seriously?

  • @schimpansjens Yep, over 3 times hotter than the coolest region of the sun. It's only hotter than some of the zones beyond the Photosphere though, as once you look inside the sun things get much, MUCH hotter(millions of degrees Celsius instead of thousands.)

  • Damn nature, you scary.

  • hadouuuuukennnn

  • So thats whay Guillotine was a 1H-KO.

  • When do humans get these?

  • its a fucking pokemon godamnit

  • @GAMEFREAK464 I laughed,

Then I realised you are right

  • fake and gay. discovery is really getting desperate these days huh? the shrimp just blew a bubble and pushed the crab away big freaking deal

  • They forgot to tell, that the snapping of the claws produces the loudest sound on the earth

  • @Porkytool5 ditto.
