Glad this video helped most of you :) And yes SUPER may not be the best solution to convert, but at the time of making this video, it was the only one I could find that was easy to use.

Free Music Zilla solved everything for me, thanks for the info! And this was a very pleasant video as well. But instead of SUPER I just used ffmpeg to convert the FLV to MP3, it's a lot quicker and simpler. *loves command line tools*

The reason is that your antivirus/firewall (example Kaspersky) is trying to stop it from being used by blocking all websites while it is open. You have to close the program, disable the anti-virus for a short time, end all internet connections (if it asks) and then open the program, take the song(s), close the program and then enable the anti-virus again.

I'm still deciding whether to do this or not but I just got one question. How come you have to use Super after downloading the song from MusicZilla?

Zilla downloads the file in .flv(flash) format, i use Super to convert it to MP3. It's pretty hard to find a free converter(without torrenting) that converts flash to mp3 directly. If you player supports .flv files then go ahead skip the conversion step.

Thanks man. FreeMusicZilla worked great. Super gave me some encoding problems, so i just ended up using VLC (from a watch?v=fFeFt-hP89s video.... for the flv to mp3 conversion)...... Again, thanks bro

it works for me though. All i did was refresh my firefox page with the song i wanted and it detected it fine. Although does anyone know how to change the name of the file u download? Because i my song is titled like saedijadnasdajkdjioh or something like that i want just the name of the song. But when i try to change it after its downloaded it says are you sure? if u change it the file might become damaged or something like that.

The file won't be damaged by renaming, don't worry. If I'm not mistaken you can rename it whilst the file is downloading in FMZ as well by double clicking the name.

For some reason MusicZilla isn't detecting files at all through Firefox. Use IE and it works perfectly. Then go to media-convert to convert from flv to mp3 or whatever.

My bitdefender says it's clean, however it's still better to scan it with w/e antivirus you're using just to be sure. I haven't had any malware problems with the downloaded software so far

if ur using mozilla firefox and FMZ doesn't detect the song just click tools from FMZ then preferences then click on the monitoring tab and check the box beside firefox, then restart FMZ, that's it, it will leech media files from firefox. hope this helps.. nice vid bro! :)
