  • Hey Boris, I'm a 19 year old male who did a dumb thing and punched a wall. It happened last January, and I have tension with my last two digits (left hand, my dominant hand). I saw a therapist for a few weeks and had 4 sessions, but the problem is still persisting. Do you think working the muscle is still a possibility for treatment -whether self or clinical- or do you believe surgery may be a necessary option?

Just really worried, and I'd really appreciate your word!

    Thanks Boris!

  • @RapsAlive Also I am assuming that if during the one-year you will demonstrate difficult symptoms of significant dysfunctions including neurological disorders, then more attention wouldn't be brought . you should to describe the problem in little bit more details, such as,:" I' am experiencing pain when Imoving fingers ,..or/and I experiencing weakness etc. the best is to see a Dr. for examination, then I will be able to advice much more.

    Get well fast.

    Boris

  • @RapsAlive as you described the situation, sounds like case a bit neglected but very possible, reversible to normal function with no pain. 4 session is absolutely not adequate treatment, and I'm assuming if therapy was prescribed, some radiological test did exclude fracture. Will continue at next post.

  • @mgaft1

Yeah, I'm in Canada so I have an old family doctor whom shed very little light on my problem. Scans were done and nothing was broken or fractured (this was approx. 6 months after the event). I didn't just punch it either, I punched it. My last two knuckles were quite swollen.

Yeah, 4 sessions isn't too much (did the treatment when I was off as a student, away from home now).

  • @mgaft1

The feeling itself is very distinct too. When I stretch out my hand straight I feel the fingers are not extending fully, and do not have the same flexibility of my other hand. Coming down from the last two digits on the underside is more tension, and what I've thought could be a mix of pressure points, damaged muscle, and maybe a nerve or joint issue of some sort. My wrist also has a sort of bump leading from these two very affected fingers.

    Thanks Boris!

  • @RapsAlive As you described ,everything can be, at the time it could be just build up of muscle/fascia tension, as well non managed scar tissue which is curable/reversible conditions. In order to exclude nerve damage you should request EMG study which additional nerve conduction test , offering myography(muscles data). Again if it will come down to muscle/fascia tension, as well non managed scar tissue, it is reversible even using self massage and exercise.

    Get well fast.

  • It's great that you're using your using your wide array of anatomical and physiological knowledge in this manner. Even if I don't currently have any problems, I still learn a lot just from watching these videos.

  • Iiii liiiike

  • Can someone plz help me wit some answers ... about a littlo over year ago i hurt my wrist playing soccer i had some sharp pain immediately. but it slowly fade a bit but the pain never really went away, today my wrist still hurts immediately when i try to lift weights or something heavy in any angle.

  • I have been getting a sharp pain in my left wrist(im left handed) when i play a forehand in tennis, the pain in my wrist is inline with my small finger. I have good technique at tennis, and am not sure why im getting pain

  • @wanderer911 Pains is the signal about abnormal conditions .As you described your pain it most likely some myofascial dysfunction including but not limited to development of tendinitis etc. massage therapy is a helpful tools in this cases. Would recommend to see a doctor and in case if he/she will support my idea then self program on my DVDs will work fast and well.

    Best wishes.

  • Iss niiicee!!

  • I injured myself swimming in January. I have had wrist/elbow pain for over two months now and am unable to work at my office job. Medical care where I live is very awful. I was diagnosed with hypermobility syndrome in March but was not told how to deal with my wrist pain. any advice would be appreciated

  • Dude this guys accent is absolutely hilarious. Especially when he says "Bony Structure" sounds JUST like Borat! Very Niiiice.

  • i hyperextended my elbow palying football and i developed tendonitis and palyed nxt season with it and i re-hyperextended it again and my elbow is killing me and my hand is starting to feel weaker latley it's putting me behind in lifting right now in football and it would be helpful to noe what you would reccomend ot do thank you

  • omg! hopfully you can help me i think i hurt my elbow falling a couple years back really hard while ice skating i didnt pay to much attention cause it never hurt after i then started football and i hurt my wrist pretty badly my elbow then started acting up i consulted a ciropractor or w,e and he said that its be cause of the wrist during football, every time i would bend elbow (palm side up) it would have like a crunch noise and would be a bothing pain now its hurting more!!!!! alot more

  • I recently switched tennis rackets, from a very flexible frame (microgel radical mp) to a very stiff frame (microgel extreme pro). Since the switch I've developed some pain in my non-dominant wrist. I use a two handed backhand and have never experienced any sort of pain before. The pain is located on the ulna protrusion and I feel it when move my wrist side to side or especially when cycling up a hill and I pull the bike side to side as I stand and pedal. Should I ditch the new racket? thx!

  • PART 1---- at 2:48 you mention an area of projection of carpal tunnel. Every time I start working out with weights, I start getting pain in that area with a bit of pain and numbness going from my pinky finger and the finger next to it all the way to the inside of my elbow. I have gone to a few doctors over the years and i have got a different diagnosis every time. If i let it rest for weeks it eventually goes away but every time i stress my hand it comes back for years now.

  • i fell down after playing basketball and my wrist did not hurt much on that day but on the next day it HURT SO MUCH btw this is the 3rd time i hurt my wrist wat should i do?

  • @guikang I hope you have consultant a physician and had an x-ray done.

If you didn't develop avascular necrosis and didn't sustain multi-fragmental fracture, then you are describing typical multi-component sprain/strain/contusion trauma, that usually lead to developments of painful tendinitis, including partial tears and scar tissue buildups, possible some arthritis initiations, etc.

If this is the case materialpresented on self DVD#3can be helpful.

    Wish you get well fast.

    Boris

  • @mgaft1 this is ynnekpd12 the same exact thing happened to me. every thing guikang described is happening to me. this wrist has been going on for 9 months now. I don't know how to cure it.. I also fell on my wrist except is was during wrestling practice. can you just tell me here some simple ways to cure it

  • @ynnek12pd first you have to be examined by Dr. and in my opinion examination have to include as minimum x-ray examination and because this is nine months case maybe MRI.doctor will decide on this.please come back to us when fracture will be excluded.

    Best wishes.

    Boris

  • does this help with boxing wrist injuries?

  • @2020182 absolutely. It addresses all anatomical components of wrist.

    Best wishes.

    Boris

  • @2020182 so am not the only one : )

  • this program is appropriate for guitarists too??before too years i had wrist tendonitis, but now i feel some pain again...i think my wrist hasn't fully recovered but i can't be sure...

  • @primelimitt Daily I am providing my treatments to many professional musicians.actually this program is helpful for everyone who are playing golf and tennis, as well using computers. Any routine of repeated motion causing strain related injuries development.for example like carpal tunnel syndrome. my home program not only helping to manage painful symptoms but most important helping to prevent it.

    Best wishes.

  • this guys accent is awesome.

  • Dear breticles

Thank you for so positive awesome. Not often I'm getting compliments on my accent. My hope that many other people will be tolerant to my accent. More than this I would prefer LOL that they will like it like you.LOL Thank God I'm teaching physical methods of treatment and not English. In this case when I am teaching, I am forgiven for my accent.

    Best wishes.

  • Hello Sir, I broke fractured my growth plate in my wirst in September 07 and I had a football game today and after about 3 hours since the game ended my wirst started to hurt on the right side of my wrist. I have a piece of my bone that was moved when I broke it but my Orthopedist told me that it would naturally heal back. It never did. Is there anyway I can get help from you? Please and Thanks.

Ps. I have a State Tournament coming up next week....

  • Dear W4MPyro. I believe you should see your doctor , and possible to have an x-ray. appearance of pain after 3 hours do not exclude fracture. I wish you fast recovery and no more injuries.

    Boris

  • hello, i have had quite a bad skateboarding accident, where i crashed and landed on my wrist, my elbow hurts and i can move my wrist but it is very painful, any pressure put on my arm hurts significantly, can you please help?

  • Help! I have massive tendonitis in both my wrists and hands. I am a bus driver and have to use my hands constantly in repetition all day long. I have been to the Doctor every 2 weeks for the last year for this. I have been to 3 specialists and have taken anti-inflammatory and steroid anti-inflamitorys only to have them hurt my stomach very bad. I am out of options and am being told by the Doctors to find a new job. Any Ideas? Good jobs are had to replace! Please e-mail me if u know a cure!

  • I am very sorry to hear your story. sounds pretty bad. proposed onDVD#3( not to be confused with instructional DVD#3) self techniques can be very effective in treatments of tendinitis and other inflammatory conditions. get well fast. Many blessings.

    Boris

  • The first treatment is: Don't wear a shirt.

The second treatment, and this is absolutely essential, is: Have back hair.

  • I hurt my right wrist in a stupid roller blading accident and am suffering a bit of pain... I have put it on ice and have used Bengay on it during a self massage of the hand, wrist, and arm... yet it still hurts... I do not have money to go to a doctor... I do have movement in the wrist, arm, and hand... so its not broken... right? what should I do next?

  • Dear MrNinjaMittens.

Even in case of capabilities to move wrist, arm and hand could be some not significant but fractures. simple X-ray is not expensive but will clarify your condition. in case of fracture you have to demobilize region otherwise it can complicate condition for years to come. pain is still presented. you have to see a doctor. Best wishes.

    Boris

  • Thank you for responding... I did not expect that. Well I would love to go to the doctor... but I am very poor... I have researched my condition and I am feeling pain in the "Proximal Row" below the thumb where it meets the "Radius". Some of the pain has reduced sence yesterday, but not much. How much do X-Ray's cost? Like I said before... I am very poor at the moment. I have been massaging it with Bengay which feels good. Should I get a wrist brace? I have a cloth which I have made itno a wrap.

  • If I had a "scaphoid fracture" would I feel pain on the top and bottom of my hand? I have found a diagram of a "scaphoid fracture" and that would be the area I feel pain. What would be the healing process? To just demobilize the use of my hand? How long would you think it will take to heal? When I move my hand it hurts most when I bend it upward also if I move it inward towards the thumb. When I move it down or towards the small finger it is not that bad. Should I keep using Bengay and or Ice?

  • a borat accent!

  • my wrist clicks alot i think i got atheritus at a young age.. (17)

  • i crack my back neck fingers like every hour its ridicoulous idk wtf i have and im only 15

  • do u lift weights a lot?

  • no actually barly

im pretty skinny but have an athletic build

  • oh, cuz I lift weights normally so my neck will get stiff sometimes so I have to crack it but not every hour.

  • yeah i work out sometimes and i ment to say like 3-4 times a day i crack them

    not like evry hour

  • cracking joints usually has nothing to do with medical conditions- just rigorous physical activity. I have to crack my fingers every five minutes when playing guitar. A;; the cracking is is air-buildups being released from the joints. When moving joints alot, more air gets in, so air needs to be released more often

  • it is just an extra buildup of cartilage- my ankle does the same thing and that is all it is

  • yeah but ive seen many videos saying cracking loosens the joints and makes it easier to sprain the joints and tear muscles because when u crack your fingers it steetches the joints and then they relax again... this can lead to arthritis

  • shaky camera

  • Dear sephirothdun,

Thank you for such an insightful observation. This really says a lot about depth of your personality.

    Best Regards,

    Michael

  • Should i see a physio? I am 18 years old btw. So can you tell me in short please, as you are an expert, what my wrist poblem could be? Anykind of wrist dislocation, or ligament injury should be cured by 6 months right?

PS: I heard about this thing called, wrist healing wrongly?? In that case, will i have to rebreak it? And is that done by a surgery or by massaging or something after seeing a physio??

    Please reply.

    Thank you

  • Sir,

My name is nifal. And i am from india. Well, i am a bboy (aka breakdancer) and i had this wrist fall before 5 months or so. Since that day, my left wrist cant be bend beyond a certain angle without pain. For me, who used to steadily do flares on pummel horse, this is a serious problem. The trouble is, xrays didnt show anything. No ortho doctors were able to find the mistake. So i am kinda worried now. Do you have any idea whom i should meet now?

  • lol he sounds like borat but he knows his stuff at least.

  • Dear overload.

Thank you for thinking that I know my "staff". I will try to improve my English. appreciate your not direct :"sounds like borat " but still advice. Best wishes.

    Boris
