@mvrtvcom Is 2008 the year when they changed the tires on that bike and put Pirellis, instead of Dunlops I think? I don't think you mentioned it. Better grip, specially off road, no? It's a beautiful and original bike and I don't understand why the company went under.
@machintruc313 Yes, I believe this bike had P tires. This bike is still a specialty item, not a lot of power, not quick, vibrates like a Harley. Still has one of the best seats in the industry and maybe the best suspension on the street of nearly any bike. MVR
Really nice review like all the others from mvrtv. After watching many of your videos i am still not through with my buying decision F800GS R1200GS or XB12X very difficult. Maybe i should flip a coin ;).
Nethertheless you guys did a perfect Job! Best regards from Germany! Chris

@chef77able Thank you, thank you, thank you! Lots of dirt - F800GS, lots of street - R1200GS! Watch for up coming full movie post which shows both of these off-road in the So Cal Desert. Maybe in the next few weeks, spread the word. Bill MVR

i like the japanese bikes, but after I knew Buell, i became a fan of this bikes, i like BIG trails, and here in brazil, I think that ulysses is the best option in her category
I have an 07 and can honestly say it is one of the best all around bikes you can buy. It is more comfortable than my electra glide, and it has excellent power.
Excellent review! This certainly helps one in making a buying decision when looking at a bike. I appreciate your mentioning the changes made on the newer model--by giving both specs (old and new). Also, I don't mind sitting through your short sponsorship acknowledgments. Great work once again!
well its just so great to actually have someone do an actual review of the bikes. Not most, but ALL the other so called reviews are merely walk arounds. I could get the same amount of information by just going down to the dealership and judging for myself. I feel like with what you guys are doing I will be way better informed to make a good decision next time I buy a bike and I hope other people are appreciating these reviews as much as I am. Keep up the hard and thoughtful work.
Thank you for the great response. You have no idea what it took to work out our methods and format. It's very gratifying to hear good positive responses.

Thank you for posting a REAL video review of a motorcycle. There are too many 2 minute "reviews" these days.
I'm very much looking forward to parts 2 and 3.
P.S. Review more Buells!
