  • I live in ringgold, in class we got called to the hallway. One of my best guy friend was crying his eyes out, I kept on telling him "everything is going to be alright." but obviously it's not. I'm sorry thomas, I'm sorry ringgold, I'm sorry everyone who experianced this. But this tornado has really brought ringgold together and it's inspiring.

  • @AreHeritageComedy No, it wasn't. The Ringgold, GA/Apison, TN tornado attained a maximum damage width of 1/3 of a mile. The Tuscaloosa/Birmingham, AL tornado attained a maximum damage width of 1.5 miles. Yeah, more than 4x wider.

  • Did this tornado cause damage west of I-75? My uncle Bobby Matheny lives in Ringgold near the interstate. He's been sending us pics of downtown, but he hasn't mentioned if his house was damaged at all. He was out of town when the tornado hit thankfully.

  • @GAdawgsfan93 Yes it did damage on both sides of the Interstate and quiet a few miles west of the Interstate, though it was much weaker then.

  • that touch down a few miles before the food lion thare was houses trashed as the same as the houses in downtown ringgold on deadmon and bent tree road just on the way to the former catoosa county landfill o most all the tree behind food lion no longer exist so is the trees on rout 151 going to ooltewah you can see the school campus from thare whare before you can't it also made an inprint of it's path in the trees on the ridge as it went up it
