With the POG you can add a sub octave, +1 octave, +1 octave detuned, +2 octaves and +2 octaves detuned. Just search for POG on youtube for sound samples or check their website.

actually my skills may not be were they were 3 years ago but i write my own stuff i listen to joe for inspiration never learned to play some one elses stuff made no sense to me to do that. but when you own every CD of joes and even have an old vinyl record when he was in the squares you know something about how his music should sound if it were duplicated.

Try and make your vibrato more or less match the speed on the record, it's going too fast.

Other than your vibrato, great job, a few bends were slightly out of pitch but it's not horrible.

Als je echt vet geluid wilt hebben zou ik toch de micro POG of de (grote) POG overwegen. Die klinken veeel beter dan de BOSS-OC-3 bijvoorbeeld. Bekijk mijn andere video van super colossal maar. Daar gebruik ik de OC-3...

Ik zou toch wel een goede delay kopen. Delay van je versterker zal nooit zo goed zijn als die van een los pendaal.

Ik speel nu zo'n 9 jaar.

The order of your pedals is also a personal matter, cause different orders causes different sound. You'll have to see what you like sounding best.

Assuming you mean delay with dealy I would say:

POG->satchurator->PH7->delay->­amp

Always put the wah first and the delay last. And for getting that super colossal sound; always the POG before the distortion.

Just try it out man. If you dont try it out for yourself you will never know what it sounds like.

Just tweak the settings or search for some presets on the internet.

Here's my chain:

Guitar-NS2-wah-whammy-POG-Ulti­mate Octave- GFX8 (with the distortion in the effects-loop)-flanger-CS3-chor­us-time machine- loop station- amp.

I thinks the POG 2 can do the super colossal sound too, but be sure to test it before you buy it of course ;-)

Put all the slides to just a bit over 50% except for sub octave. Put that one just a bit then the rest. So everything on like 53% and sub octave on 56%. And the LPF on mode 2.

I think a little. With this song at least, cause with the micro pog you're missing the +1 octave detuned, + 2 octaves and the +2 octave detuned. But for the song musterion joe uses the micro pog, so for that song its great. But that's also possible with the big POG.

Try the Micro POG. I purchased the Original POG but as a bassist found the amount of controls it offered way over my needs, as well as taking up far too much space on my pedalboard. Returned it before my 45 days were up and when E-H released the Micro POG and it's 3 simple knobs I snatched it up, and it's been a huge part of my sound ever since.

.. I've been toying with the idea of selling it off to fund a POG2, but what I like about it (8 presets, attack decay, low-pass filter) isn't worth $160 *plus* what I'd get selling the Micro POG. I already have a dedicated SubOctave effect, the MPOG is used for "Electronic 10-string" effect (think 8-string but with a low-B and its octave) as well as its chordal tones. It's a killer pedal, and now that the POG2 is out people will be selling their Micro POG for a pittance: check eBay.

The satchurator goes into the clean channel of the peavey and is edited with the GFX-8 for a little reverb and stuff.

Every slide just a little above 50%, except for sub octave. Sub octave for about 60%. LPF mode 2.

The micro pog has only 2 settings, and the big POG really has that church organ sound, which gives that full sound in distortion.

You can try joe's setting for the micro pog which is:

Dry on full

sub octave: between 2 and 3 o' clock

octave up: 8 o'clock
