  • some one please tell me how he did this

  • EyeTV

  • If Nintendo designed a tv this would be it :)

  • So w/ eyetv you can use your imac monitor for gaming (hooking up a nintendo, xbox, or PS)... I dont understand what eyetv does exactly. Any care it explain.

  • @Tacojohn69 - the EyeTV thingy converts the 3 cable thingy to a usb i think.. and you plug the usb to the mac w/e and play.. that is all.

  • How?

  • How do you do that?

  • Wow! I didnt know you were capable to connecting a t.v output to an iMac. CRAZY!

  • thats cool!

have you experienced any problems with eyetv on Imac with Wii?

Cuz I'm about to buy a Wii n eyetv hybrid for my Imac. Plz let me know! Thanx

  • so does eyetv hybrid work with a powerbookG4 and do i need to buy anything else but eyetv to hook up my wii to my laptop or do i need a special wire?

  • I tried Elgato eyetv hybrid and doesn't show images at fullscreen mode 16:9, what's the problem?

  • I think that he is using the Elgato eyeTv. There are two different versions of the eyetv. There is the EyeTv 250 which costs $200 and there is the EyeTv Hybrid(Which I recommend) for $150. They are usb devices that can play any game console with no latency(no lag). They are expensive because they are also used to record television. You can find them at Apple*com Just go to Shop>Mac Accesecories>Video Converters.

..... to connect a game console to the EyeTv you will need a S-Video Connector***

  • it seems like a simple video input box hooked up to your mac. but you really should have got a tripod for this shot lol:) jk man, pretty cool. I need one of those so I can play 360 on my MacBook. notebook doubling as a portable screen would rock

  • I'm guessing it's Elgato's product...

  • I thought something like EyeTV would include some sort of lag...

  • this is a pretty nice setup! Did you connect your Wii with Eyetv?

  • How exactly did you hook this up if I may ask?

  • I have the exact same setup and I use the eyetv250. it works flawlessly
