After I beat it the first time, I played it again and it was easier, but still pretty difficult. I've played it and defeated it a total of 6 times b4 it started skipping (I was younger and didn;t take care of games.) Tear...I might re buy all 3 online...

@darklara8888 I can't remember the difficulty of the game since I haven't played it in 4-5 years. I can't spoil the story. You're gonna have to find out by playing it first. I suggest buying online since the game stores are starting to get rid of all the PS2 games. Every game store from where I live already got rid of all of them.

@RandomFanficWriter Actually it's mentioned that Shion was trained in her family's martial arts by her Grandfather way back at in Ep. 1. Mayuki used Shion's fighting style as a base when designing her MWS. Also, try using the Double Techs featuring Shion and Jin in Ep. 2. She shows a great deal of skill and familiarity with the style. As to fighting Margulis, it was clearly a duel. It's also implied that an interference would mean they'd get mobbed by the baddies.

If you run out of items before getting to the boss then there's something obviously wrong. II was so easy everyone complains about the battle system how hard is it to do a A B C combo? The only bosses that were hard were the secret bosses. I'll admit it was very short unlike I.

I can tell you the original is very different from the original.... Like some people saying stuff like incomplete scripts that have Virgil go saying "Well that's the kind of place this is" That is in fact what's written in the original script and even the JP version has that down. And Shion is completely different in the original... she doesn't rebuke Miyuki Like NUTS... well she does that's an obvious but her tone of voice doesnt suggest shes madly angry.

Xenosaga could've continued on as planned spanning 6 episodes, but a few things led to their downfall.

1: The rush during and after episode 2 due to problems within the staff.

2: Insufficient sales.

3: The consumer's lack of interest, which IMO is the dumbest reason.

Oh well, I suppose the population doesn't know what it wants. They used to complain about a game being too hard, these days they complain because they're too easy. Frankly I have no idea what "gamers" these days want anymore.

A game that can gives us a challenge when you're fighting bosses (not every single enemy has to be hard) but not to the point where it's gets frustating, only optional bosses can be as hard as they want to (Kingdom Hearts 1 is the best I can think of for a good challenging game)

For RPGs: grinding must NOT be necesarry to win a boss of the story, they can be hard but can be finished at a good lvl without the need of grinding, just fighting normal enemies

That does suck. It has religious content in it (especially in the first installation) but the writer changed and religion became more of a secondary outlet rather than an intricate one like in the first episode. You can tell, not only by the way the characters look, act, and sound but also the manner in which religious material is placed in each episode.
