  • @LADBROKE2007 pretty much all the guys! men who express themselves through art music and dance really turn me on and this is one of the coolist ways of doing it.

  • @kissingcandy1 Nice! You're not from Bristol by any chance?

  • @LADBROKE2007 I live in the wonderful town of Weston-Super-mare, I know bristol pretty well, most people who live here think its another country, they don't know what there missing.

  • @kissingcandy1 Cool!

  • Yoooooooooo this is sick!

    I wanna see more!

  • saw a collection of photos by Beezer in portland square in Bristol, of the wildbunch and Bristol youth in the 80's - 3D, Mushroom, ray mighty etc, in the dugout, st Pauls, jamaica street. good vibes

  • Hey, isn't that Boogie Boys at the 3:20 marker?

  • Top never made it to any of these but i seen a video in the Arnolfini rapping over Hollis crew beat instrumental which came out on def jam record label back in the dayz with Smirth and some other b boys b boying in it, back in 86, and i seen the wild bunch play live at a cassino at cannonsmearsh bristol back in 86 as well, peace Geebeats.

  • their main samples are from "rock it" by herbie hancock

  • Bristol massive hold tight!

  • Have you been to the museum, cant remember the name, you know the 1 at the top of Park Street, theres an incredible exhibition on (until Jan 10th I THINK) and its got old photos of the Dug Out, and 7 songs like this one, and Smith and Mighty, and more.

  • Couldn't make the book launch on the 11th of Dec'! Got the book tho' 'Wild dayz'. Some great pics in there from back in the day mind! And what about those pink 1200's!!! :)

  • Absoloutly, before i went i liked but never really understood the music.

its catchy, and melodic which i like, but looking at the photos, and listening to the music from the projector and speakers, it just makes sense.

  • wild bunch crew is a true legend. dj milo's wild bunch story cd is fucking cool

  • wow remember watching the wild bunch at the old granary in about 1984 totally awesome stuff in its day..! I remember E force were there that day too.

  • I usually sigh loudly when people tell me "I can break, I can do the worm!" but this vid acutally makes it look pretty good, like a real dance move!

  • It's not what you do, but the way you do it.. i was doing it good back in 85 hehehehe ;)

  • Anyone go to the legendary Red house wharehouse jam

Wild bunch V Krew. Both sets were incredible but the London boys mashed up the mic Drew and them. Plaus those bboys were a bit ahead of my Bristol mob.Nothing but good vibes though.Newtra had the best hip hop selection in the Uk at that time according to Milo.

  • Yeh, I went to the Red House that night. Great sound clash, maybe Nutrament slightly had the edge, but he had more experience at that stage. I remember him comin back from NYC around 81/82 and visitin Bristol with the first proper ghetto blaster we'd seen

  • don't mess with the KREW heheehe.. love the bristol scene back in the day and my brisitol bros and sis...

  • I think I have a scruffy cassette with some bootleg of that jam. I think there were some Manchester crew in the house too. I saw Newtrament in LA where he's been for years.

  • yepp i was there representing hard for the KREW ;)

  • No Way!! Pure inspiration!! remember these guys!! never forgot the time the dj's came to gloucester & absolutely smashed it at the jamaican club!! it was all about mixing the magic roundabout theme tune with adonis-no way back!! totally blew our minds!!!

  • anyone know what happened to miles. where he lives and what's he doing

  • Yeah he lives in NYC, making music, producing beats. He's got a website, Blacklight pproductions.

  • Thanks the lot for your information about miles johnson. I've not been in contact with him for years. It was nice to hear from him and now that he has done really well for himself.

  • Milo put out a housey mix CD only available in Japan. I got it somewhere.

  • dirt vid! glad it's finally up, I remember you showing me this vid a few year ago (oop shhshh)

  • Hmmm... got me thinkin now

  • ...DOPE!!!!!

The Bristol scene was a BIG inspiration for me & my crew as I was living in Exeter back in them days so it was pretty accessible for us.

I remember going up there & heading to Debenhams (I think?) where the bboys used to throwdown before heading down to a club in St Pauls - cant remember the name of it...could have been The Mud Club or maybe it was the actual Dugout? Big up 3D - original UK graf pioneer who seemed to be running Bristol back then!

    Special K's anyone????

  • Yepp i've been to special Ks.. that was much later tho..

  • ...they did THE best door-step sandwiches there!!!

  • 3D, Goldie and Brim was the Transatlantic link-up

  • ...and each one of em is a living legend in my book!...TransAtlantic Team ;-)

  • Big up to the Wild Bunch, especially DJ Milo!

    True Pioneers!! BBRRAAAPPP!!

  • Nice visionfactory! 83' for me! I'm in this vid with my crew-KREW-kings ruling every where-I'm the tall light skin guy wid the cream tracksuit top. We r the breakers not the poppers wid da blue shellsuits. We were good friends wid Dj Milo and the others and used to stay at Nellee's on our trips up from Ladbroke Grove, London. Do/did U know Theresea and Nuala from Montpellier?

Cool! Reply if u can, pz, KD..

  • Yeh I did know those 2, but where on earth they are now I couldn't tell u amigo.

So did you know Nutrament crew at that time?

  • Yes Visionfactory! Me and my crew(KREW)were established when we hooked up with Newtrament. He used to squat around the corner from my house! He took us up to Bristol and introduced us to The Wild Bunch. Newtrament was a true pioneer. It was a love hate relationship!! Newtrament would find the empty warehouses and supply the sound system, we would rock the show! KREW were Dj,s Mc's, B boys, and Graffitti artists, about 15+ heads. Theresa n' Nuala some real cool girls!! Was just wonderin!! Cool!!

  • I did a musical project with him before Newtramnet. I remember a mad off squat he had in Stoke Newington. A massive house with electric fires permanently on full blast in every room cause he'd got the electric fixed. A true character!

  • Yeah! He lives in LA now, doing guerilla video and skateboarding? Spoke to him a few months bck.

  • Fjckin sick... I've only seen this once and that was back then.. i am sure the breakin' scene were filmed in 83/4, i guess it took longer to put the clip together. that was 1st time i ventured into the bristol scene.. KREW BBOYS LADBROKE GROVE!!!

  • Yepp the breakin' was deifinitely filmed way way before then, 83 i would say!!! i'm wearing US top jeans hahahahahaa...

  • r u wearing a baseball cap skam.........
