I've been out of music for a while, and with the exception of Bele Fleck, I'm embarrassed to say, I need to become more familar with the other incredible muscians.
Abby is an outstanding musical talent over a wide range of styles, and a very nice person too. Sorry to miss MF this year but at least she was in the UK a few months ago with the g'Earls. Bela is not too shabby either (old English expression: approximates to 'brilliant'). Thanks for posting.
yeah, you really would have missed out if you did! this was one of the main acts that i wanted to see at MF'08. been wanting to see them again since seeing Bela and Abby in the Lounge last year on Friday night. What a great festival! Thanks for all the video's you've posted. between the all of us, there is a nice sampling of the fest.
The cellist might be Ben Sollee? And the song near the end is "Captain," though I don't know if the whole thing would count exactly . . . .
