@amessina333 i dont remember which book, but that wasnt johnson, but in one of the books it says that johnson and a few other marines escaped on a pelican and landed on an astroid i think... it WAS johnson and his team that got attacked by the flood, but johnson has an immunity to the flood so he cant get infected. some genetic thing, but chief found the pelican adrift and nearly killed johnson because he thought he was infected... sorry dont remember ALL the details
