I miss this game, the parrying was no joke and back in my prime my Ken was almost IMMORTAL with perfectly timed parries.

After about maybe the second or third battle, the games difficulty stoops way down to become extremely fucking challenging. NO MATTER WHAT DIFFICULTY IT IS, IT BECOMES HELL. Even fighting Gill is a problem when he comes back to life without the third special move equipped to shoot fucking balls at you.

The game itself is good, but if you've got a bad connection, online will not be fun. Unlike SF4 where you simply get some input lag, here you're characters teleport all over the dang place.

@ThaDRP Scan Lines are only for Arcade Cabinet view. When I put it on Arcade Cabinet view with the Scan Lines, it went really Arcade Perfection, no strains.

If by Normal view, it wasn't really meant for that due to the Screen getting bigger.

SF Alpha 3 would probably benefit from the HD Remix treatment.. but I'd make the original sprites and backrounds available as an option for ppl who prefer it since Alpha's graphics hold up a lot better than Super Turbo's.

While Super SFII Turbo pretty much needed a graphical overhaul due to it's extremely dated visuals, SFIII is a game in which the sprites and animation still hold up well even today. Just throw a few HD filters on the already great looking sprites and backrounds and you're good to go.

Im an old skool street fighter fan and ive got my street fighter noob friend sitting next to me telling me 3rd strike looks graphically identical to alpha 3 and that 3rd strike should have recieved a graphical update to make it look more 2011. Now i may be wrong, but im willing to bet most SF fans prefer the semi retro visuals of 2d street fighter and dont give a shit if it recieved a graphical update, i know what i prefer and thats retro. @kevinkavi hey you guys the difficulty dosen't really change that much on how many stars you got, 3 stars just mean your attacks does normal damage, 1 stars does a lot of damage and 8 stars decrease your damage by 1/4 so meaning if you're doing a 40 percent combo, on 8 stars against cpu you're doing 30 percents

@XPERTOWNER when he is doing his resurrection you got to hit him before he gain back his full, after practcing a bit when gill resurrect, i attack him fast enough that a basic ground combo with ryu ( cr. mk , hurricane kick) can kill him

ok so i downloded the game on psn

so why when i play the game the chalenges dont appear at the side of my screen and when i go into the optiond menu to change the screen type i only see "normal" and "arcade" i tried redownloading again but that didnt help

and evdn when i turn on arcade mode i get a small box of a screen it looks way larger on the xbla relice
