Genius. If it had a balancing mechanism that could alter the rotations of the two screws individually, then it could traverse uneven terrain, or a spiral staircase. Pretty cool idea, though.

So smart! The idea is similar to a worm gear. That is a very cleaver idea, however, it might be a bit over engineered.
