OMG, I live in Adelaide, but was visiting family in England in October and was in Newcastle on 12th October but did not know that the Scorps were in town, and so missed it!!!! Will have to watch the Wacken DVD and dream. I was in the front row in Sheffield in 2005 so I still remember the magic. Ace band.

Thanks for posting, saw them a few days later with Uli and Michael at Hammersmith....fantastic gig!!! much better than the Whitesnake/Def Leppard tour!!!! Klaus can STILL sing!

We were at the other side of the stage right at the front - brilliant gig - didn't take any video, apart from a very short clip. Took loads of photos. It was good to see Michael looking well - a definite improvement on Manchester last year. Managed to meet the band before they did their sound check and also managed to nab a drumstick and a couple of Pawel's plecs - can't wait for their return!!

uli was travelling bacj from being on tour in america, so couldnt make it to newcastle.

i was standing right next to the person who filmed this, it was a great concert.

yep it was awesome, have loved the scorpions since i was a kid, it was immense seeing these 50-60 yr old lads playing air guitar behind me...loved the humanity track too..

Saw Schenker in January and he was top quality.
