There are many spiritual sects that operate off 'the energies of the universe' - whatever we all calling that - chi, ki, kharma, chakra, etc. In my belief, someone who calls themselves a real vampire today is someone who has learned to manipulate those energies from other strong sources (other human beings). It's not unheard of, and healing energy practises are very common.

However, as you say, mostly it is the culture that is just fun for most.

I found a way to live forever and not have to subject myself to the whims of a hypocritical god nor in the act of Vampirism. I found a way to place my soul's essence in a specific plot of land that the longer I stay upon it the stronger my soul becomes but that benefit decreases the longer I'm away from it. Sure I've guaranteed myself to becoming an earthbound spirit but I'd rather exist on a plane that is neither eternal paradise nor eternal torment.

I too am a christian Real vampire, and i agree with Nayru4123. In fact l, the type of people who you reffered to in the videos are serverely frowned upon by real vamps. Real vampires are not satanic. One cannot exist without the other or both sides will destroy themselves. However Darkness within itself a concept of emptiness and avoid. I wouldn't call darkness as a means of evil but rather corruption, which what I think is the word you're looking for. ( not pointing at you or other goths ). Just putting that out there.

Christ said NOT to return to the darkness. 2 Corinthians 6:14-Be you not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship has righteousness with unrighteousness? and what partnership has light with darkness? I'm not against people wearing black btw. Darkness is what it is.

@gundown26 I'm not trying to be hard on you, but it's just that there are no scriptures that says to embrace darkness. In Romans 7, however, Apostle Paul explains the struggle of darkness and light within ourselves such as wanting to do good, but still sinning. Not a scripture in that book suggest that we ought to mingle with the darkness or even appease it. Some people make darkness a style statement---not sure about that, but overall, not a scriptures in the Word tells us to be in darkness.

A vampire needs to feed on others blood in order to survive as opposed to Jesus who gave blood so that others may find heaven in the end.
