No disrespect; I never really found him funny, but knowing that he had anxiety issues and self-medication issues and died of an acidental overdose explains a lot.
He died of heart failure, whether the cocaine that was in the speedball that he thought was heroin was the catalyst for his heart giving out is impossible to say.
Mitch was, by all accounts, a responsible addict as opposed to a drug abuser. Prior to the vast array of heart medications that we currently have cardiopulmonary care relied solely on opiates which leads me to wonder if Mitch was self medicating his physical condition as opposed to an emotional or mental condition?

Alright so I love Mitch Hedberg but does he have any other material. He was a comic for a long time but I can't find any videos of him doing any material that's not on either of his cd's or his comedy central special. His comedy central special material overlaps with the cd's too, so in his entire career he wrote less than 2 hours of jokes. Any hedberg fans know any videos where he is doing different material they could refer me too. Maybe I'm spoiled because I own both cd's already.

* I saw a commercial on late night TV, it said,"Forget everything you know about slipcovers." So I did. And it was a load off my mind. Then the commercial tried to sell me slipcovers, and I didn't know what the hell they were.

Alright so I love Mitch Hedberg but does he have any other material. He was a comic for a long time but I can't find any videos of him doing any material that's not on either of his cd's or his comedy central special. His comedy central special material overlaps with the cd's too, so in his entire career he wrote less than 2 hours of jokes. Any hedberg fans know any videos where he is doing different material they could refer me too. Maybe I'm spoiled because I own both cd's already.

@sfbayarea21 Mitch Hedberg has forgotten more jokes due to drugs than most comedians have come up with in their lifetime.
