Nobody got hurt, but the scary thing is that i was there a week earlier visiting them in Lima, Peru.

I was in Lima, Peru during the quake... very scary. there was a huge white light near the coast that was visible within hundreds of miles. I've seen people in panic, because the quake lasted more than two minutes.
It's an experience that I will remember for the rest of my life. Good compilation. May the hundreds of victims rest in peace.

I live in Tacna, a city in the south of Peru, in the limit with Chile. I won't comment about Chileans or Argentinians who told you that, cause I don't tend to generalize or make an stereotype of people of other countries, as other people with a low iq do. Here a lot of Chileans come, to buy clothing, to eat in restaurants, etc. so then why if peru is so dirty, they continue coming, and buying, and drinking and eating and ...etc?

earthquakes occur along FAULT LINES when plates move towards/past one another... hence the distribution of earthquakes around the world being directly associated with the location of plate boundaries... of course the moon effects the tides, that is well documented and a fact... but to say that the moon also creates earthquakes is pretty funny... wouldn't we see earthquakes in all sorts of areas all the time then, and not just close to or at plate boundaries like we do today??

7.5 EN LA ESCALA DE RITTER a las 6:41 p, más o menos a muchos limñoes los agarró mientras regresaban a sus casas. Se sentía como los autos se movían como culebras, los postes se movían en un rango de medio metro lado a lado. La gente en las calles gritaba porque creía que las lunas arboles y postes se venían, la gente en los buses querían salir.
Luego del movimiento hubo un gran tráfico en la ciudad, Todo el mundo estaba consternado los niños llorando y con media ciudad a oscuras.

my brother was in this earthquake. He told me he only thought it was a trimmer then he said it really picked up so he ran downstairs and found my grandparents and great grandmother praying under the door. Nobody got hurt, but the scary thing is that i was there a week earlier visiting them in Lima, Peru.

I was in Lima, Peru during the quake... very scary. there was a huge white light near the coast that was visible within hundreds of miles. I've seen people in panic, because the quake lasted more than two minutes.
It's an experience that I will remember for the rest of my life. Good compilation. May the hundreds of victims rest in peace.

Apparentl, the Chileans agree with me, that it disgusts them that so many Peruvians pee in public places, throw trash wherever they want, and have no respect. They also say that many Peruvians hate Chileans, but they go there to work as nannies, they are asking, "If you hate us so much, why don't you just stay in your own country?". I heard the Argentinians say, "Peruvians - all bark and no bite"...

The funny thing about the way many other peoples feel about Peruvians is, the Peruvians are always the ones throwing cheap insults at everybody else - exactly what has been done to me here - and all I was doing was being honest. The constant beeping, the incredibly rude driving habits, the constant noise, the disrespect and disregard for the land, these are serious problems, and I find it disturbing when you people defend this stuff. one thing more, a peruvian english teacher, who lived in USA for 6 years, who travelled around that country, and of course knew it and its people, told me about many dirty cities, with very unpolite people, but there were others really nice. not for the other cities she thought USA was a shit...

But I happen to know that most Peruvians believe that anybody who has something - money, decent car, nice watch, expensive camera, nice bicycle - doesn't deserve it, that a poor Peruvian is entitled to steal it from the "rich motherfucker" who used his OWN money to buy his things. This is very sad, and there are many Peruvians who think exactly that way. So, if it offends you when other people say these TRUTHS, well, you are being selfish and dishonest.

Ok at first u r in reason about some things.
I live in Tacna, a city in the south of Peru, in the limit with Chile. I won't comment about Chileans or Argentinians who told you that, cause I don't tend to generalize or make an stereotype of people of other countries, as other people with a low iq do. Here a lot of Chileans come, to buy clothing, to eat in restaurants, etc. so then why if peru is so dirty, they continue coming, and buying, and drinking and eating and ...etc?

I don't know anything about Chileans, I don't know any Chileans, my opinion of Peru is bases ONLY on the two horrible years I spent there. While I did manage to meet a few decent Peruvians, the general attitude there is disgusting. I don't know why Chleans go to Peru, maybe it's not much different from their own cities, and maybe things are cheaper in Peru.
Yes, I am ashamed of many things about my country, and there are some stupid peoplehere, but we like order, cleanliness, politeness...

and I am used to those things. The level of aggression in Lima is something beyond my comprehension. We have rules that we obey, we try not to intrude on other people so blatantly - we do not beep our horns constantly, we do not race our noisy cars up and down quiet streets for no reason, our ice cream sellers do not blow their cornetas like they are trying to kill somebody with them, we would not allow thousand watt bullhorns with people SCREAMING through them to sell their things...

We do not have "guardians" blowing their ridiculous whistles every 30 seconds in quiet neighborhoods 24 hours a day. We do not drive with the gross "ME FIRST" attitude - to the point where drivers will squeeze their way in front of the other drivers in any rude, selfish way they possibly can. The few people here who do such things - eventually they get caught and dealt with by the law.

I just spent the past half an hour eating my lunch. In that time, at least 5 noisey cars came racing on this street. At least 5 combis caused me ears to hurt with the unbelievable noise. 2 junk collectors were screaming through their bullhorns. At this moment, the trash collectors are here, blasting their airhorn. Where I come from, you might have one of these things in a whole day. In the time it took for me to type that last sentence, now there is another junk collector screaming...

Estoy indignado, no puedo creer que gaste tanto tiempo en hablar mal de Lima. Usted es músico y si aprecia la riqueza musical que tenemos tampoco debería estar echándole mierda a nuestro país y cultura. Luego de ver sus videos pienso que no le caería mal absorber algo de nuestro sabor musical.

wow i was they when the earth quake hit that was scary ass hell me and my hole family(32) ran out in the middle of the streets all most 60% of house fell and like we slept out side me and the rest of my family me and my gurl just be staring out into the star it was buitiful but during the nights we felt the earth shake and like we heard the sea the sea was 42 miles away we thought they was going to be a tsunami well it was scary but im happy i made it out feel sorry for those who didnt
