@mediamaker2000 We don't allow access during construction for safety reasons - since it is an active construction site. We're happy we can share some of the excitement through these videos, though.

That's great, not far from where I go al the time. Do you have to make an appointment for a tour or just go on in?

No need for an appointment. There is a small, entertainment kiosk which has a video explaining solar (also available in our YouTube feed) and a display that shows you how much power is being generated. And you can see the field behind a security fence. We do not give tours.
It is fairly tucked back off the road. Just keep following the DP&L signs, and you should arrive at a gate. There is a sign posted with a password, which works 8-5/M-F.

@mediamaker2000 The facility is across from the Yankee Trace Golf Course at 9975 Yankee St.. I posted more details and a link to directions in the description above, because you can't post links in comments.
It's open for self-guided tours Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
