  • I was using Motions Hair Wrap for my hair and it was not all that god watch out because it might rey the hair and cause little breakage.

  • wow im stupid you already knew i didnt watch the whole video i had paused it when you where talking about aphogee sorry my b

  • hehe Its ok =)

  • o sorry lol forgot to add this if u use aphogee by it self u cann get alot of breakage after a while

  • i just wanted to tell you to be carefull using aphogee products because its mostly protien no moisture so i would use an moisture shampoo an conditioner with the aphogee so you can have protien an moisture

  • Oh yes I know, I don't use too much anymore... I use it sometimes once a month when I clarify. But I always follow up with Nexxus Humectress moisturizing conditioner. Thanks for the comment.

  • Do you do your own relaxers?

  • now I do, my sister used to do them until I found out she was doing them completely wrong (putting the relaxer on previous relaxed hair, which broke my hair off) I started doing them myself.

  • This is just a little trick I learned when relaxing my own hair. I put olive oil on my previous relaxed hair to prevent it from getting more chemical when i'm relaxing my new growth. I also put a teaspoon of olive oil in my relaxer when i'm doing a touch up. You don't have to try it if you don't want. I'm just suggesting. good luck with your hair growth.

  • I do the same thing, i use the Aphogee essential oils, i add 2 tblesppon to my ORS perm..it has done wonders to the my hair...so soft and smooth and i dont have to rush when performing a perm..

  • HOLY CRAP D:!

  • I have the same problem with breakage and split ends. I started using motions CPR treatments have worked the best out of everything I have tried. You might want to try them

  • I have noticed also that products like motions cpr and ORS mayo that contain collagen make my hair strong yet soft and its not that protein feeling I get if I use the 2 min reconstructor

  • Hey Ashley...Lots of products! Here's a great concoction that I got from another sister with long healthy relaxed hair: 1 cup Aloe Vera Juice (Juice not gel or oil), 1/4 cup rosewater, and 1 Tsp glycerin. Mix together in a spray bottle and use as a moisturizer. It definitely makes my hair plump up with moisture and makes my scalp feel good too. Also, I seal my moisture in with olive oil and jojoba oil. Hope this helps!

  • A real product junkie..

Darling , you do not need to use that much product, what you need to do is create a regimen and stick to it.. If you dont do that, you will never see any results.

  • I don't use all those products, I had just purchased most of those and was doing the trial and error thing to see which ones work for me, but oh trust me I've cut ALOT of those products. I have a good lil regimen going, it seems to be working, thanks for the comment!

  • To control breakage, I have been using Palmer's Olive Oil Formula Conditioning Spray Oil with Vitamin E. It's made with Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil and does a good job of sealing my ends. Now, I can comb or run my fingers through my ends without seeing bits of strands of hair clinging to my fingers.

  • Yea I've been really good at moisturizing and sealing lately, but my hair still breaks because of split ends all the way up the hair shaft, but once I cut, it should be all good, Thanks for commenting!

  • I also use the Vitale Olive Oil Hair Mayonnaise. Does it leave little pieces of green olives in your hair, too? I truly like the product, but I was seriously having to pick olive pieces out of my hair after rinsing it (and I rinsed it very thoroughly so the rinse wasn't the problem). By the way, when you get the Silk Elements Olive Heat Protectant from Sally's, you'll love it.

  • Yea it does leave the little olives in my hair, hate it, but I don't really use it that much prolly two times so I don't really know if it's a good product, and I got the heat protectant and yes I love it, but it can be kinda greasy so I have to use a little bit.

  • to help the scalp, and hair from drying out,you may want to use shampoo, and conditoner that has no sulfate and silicones couse they can dry the hair out,i like to use natural products from the health food store, they got good hair stuff, like pure shea butter, and pure olive oil creme which work wonders for dry damage hair.

  • We as black women we, use way too many products, that does nothing for the hair. Too many products makes the hair gets worst.key thing for black hair is keep it clean and moist, use more pure natural stuff,do a treatment with silk, and keratin for relax hair every 8 weeks, a week befor you get a touch up,silk and karatin makes the hair strong, dont use it too much it will break hair if used very week,or every 2 week,so be carefull.

  • Yea I know all those things now since I've been doing alot of research, many of the products I mentioned I don't use anymore. But I do use oil on my scalp every week for a hot oil treatment, and it has helped my hair, so I will continue to use it. And I only wash my hair once a month now because the shampoo is too drying, and I co wash 2 to 3 times a week, and deep condition once a week.

  • where can i get rose water

  • you should never put oil on the hair, its best to use creme products moist the hair, natural shampoo, with no sulfate, sulfate will dry your hair out becouse, it is also in body wash and dish soap, bad for hair. i like hollywood beauty, carrot creme. aphogee is good if use carefully.

  • Hello Ashley I hope you doing ok I here b/c I want you to see my hair regime because I hear that u r looking to have long healthy hair and I think this web site in my hair products chater may help you so take care

    bye

  • i found that carrot oil really helped to strengthen my hair when it was breaking.

    Garnier Frutus is horribly drying.

I really like Dove's moisterizing shampoo and conditioner, and even better is Nexxus Humectant shampoo and conditioner...it made my hair feel like silk.

  • My hair actually loves Garnier, it makes my hair really soft, and I just recently purchased the Nexxus Humectant conditioner it's good, it makes my hair soft and silky, but I might have to give the carot oil a try, although my breakage has slowed down tremendously, I just needed a good trim, but thanks for the comment.

  • One oil that made a huge difference for me was virigin coconut oil, i love, love this stuff. Also Creme of Nature mositurizing shampoo is great. Just make sure that you keep your protein/mositure balance and your rhair will do great. If you use the aphogee, make sure you mositurize your hair. Hope this helps!

  • use dr. miracles hot gro products! works GOOOOOOOOOOD :]

  • my friend used that and she said it made her hair break more

  • (continued) lol i dont put anything in my hair. i just use my hair's natural oils which produce on its own in about a week. i keep it trimmed about every 5 weeks and thats it. my hair is coming back from the long healthy hair it used to be. now if your hair doesn't produce enough oil i suggest just using regular olive oil. but at least try and see how much oil your hair does produce bcuz alot of products dont do anything but strip and weigh the hair down and cause more damage.

  • Yea I'm trying to be careful of the products I use in my hair, I bought alot of these products to see what works for me cause right now I have no clue, but I was trying not to put much in my hair, but my hair stays dry so I had to make my own moisturizer mix but other than that I just... well I will make a video of my regimen that I'm doing now, so just watch that lol cause I have alot to say. oh and thanks for the input.

  • HI!! I can give u some advice but not everyone's advice will work since we all have different hair. But the best advice I can give you is to not do too much to your hair. my hair was like SUPER damaged a few months ago bcuz i would always do stuff to it like try n wear it curly or wavy or washing it too much.. i stick to a simple regimen which is wash at least once every 5 days to a week. wrap it every night keep it down and straight.

  • you have so many products, I love it! So you use that ApHOGEE keratin& green tea restructurizer alot, cause I just bought it yesterday for a friend who has damaged hair and I was hoping it would help her out. Do you think its helped your hair?

  • That Keratin & green tea works so good, as soon as I put it on my hair after I wash it, my hair, it feels stronger, so easy to comb, and there is little to no breakage so I think it works really good.

  • great! I'm glad to hear it cuz she has like the worst hair I have ever seen. Its to the point where she should just chop it off but she wont so I have taken it upon myself to try and fix it. Lol I can't look at bad hair! Thanks so much for the response=) oh and do you ever put it on your hair when its dry? cuz I thought I heard that people do but it doesn't say so on the directions, just wondering...

  • Yea I've tried it on dry hair, but I think it does better on wet but that's just my opinion.

  • Okay I have the cream of nature shamp, not as good as the original, I also have a lot of the Aphogee products, still pending, I've tried the Cantu shea butter repair cream, its good but I mixed it in with my lustasilk. ummm I use fantasia IC starightning serum.. works wonders, I also don't want to start rambling so if you want pm me
