  • sooooooo glad i found this!!!!!!!

  • Beautiful piece, and well done in this movie - Edgar was more along the lines of a BBC micro or a commodore 64. Needless to say I've tried coke, champers, wine, scotch and a few other bevvies in my i5 laptop and they are getting sick of replacing it ;)

  • NEVER get tired of this!! Not in decades! Thank you.

  • Favourite part of the movie, thanks for uploading

  • @sphinxrising58 I think I take back what I wrote earlier. Except for the repetition starting, I thought this Duel was the original piece enhanced with a beat. But I heard this up against the later concert in the movie back to back for the first time. Looks like they altered the music Bach composed unless they split his piece up so you never get his full composition in the concert. I like this version but sorry it misleads away from hearing the true composition. I don't think Bach would like that

  • @Miracle490d hmmm.. ?? i think he would .! because he allways experimented with sounds and instruments ! let me get a littlebit twistet ... (bach with the instruments from this century . what a thought .... and i think kinda fantastic music) why do you think he wouldnt like it if he hear something like that ? for me its a very cool interpretation from this tremandous composition . so get tha hell outta here .. NERD !!

  • Does anyone know the name and who does the classical piece later in the movie, the second one after this song in the concert?

  • I love this so much. Brings back memories. Wish it was available to download

  • You're welcome!

  • She is HOTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!

  • Memory of an electric Dream! Love!

  • I was around sixteen when I saw this movie and I had a mad crush on Virginia. I believe this song is "Canon" by Bach but not sure. By the way, I think the title should be Duet and not duel since two instruments are playing together rather than against each other....thanks for the awesome memories.

  • I was around 16 too when I saw this. Now my daughter plays this song on piano. It's Minuet by Bach, not Canon.

  • Wonders what Bach would think of what they did to his baby, lol ?

  • I think he would smile because he was ever open for new styles in music and covered older pieces himself.

  • @sphinxrising58 I would think that he ought to appreciate it. It's because of Electric Dreams that this is my favorite classical piece. I've been wanting to know whose it was. Thanks to all for pointing out it's Bach's Minuet. Classical music had plenty of melody, but it really lacks beat. Edgar brought it up to date with todays music. If these guys were still alive, they'd probably put the drums in themselves. Does anyone know the name and who does the second song after this in the concert?

  • I agree.

  • Yes, I liked it too. You're right about this specific scene (the film was pretty good too).

  • You're welcome and thanks for sharing your beautiful childhood memories.

  • Thanks.
