What brand of liquid do you use?

I use a local brand, but i have problems to get the right consistence with it. I've tried different powders from ezflow to magnetic so that should not be the issue.

Hey when I go to get acrylic nails (not uv gel) will I need to use the uv light?? I'm afraid of the sun nd tanning beds so even if I do will I have the option of using sunscreen. -_- gaah help

@MrJohnnycakes86 Not usually. Some salons use UV reactive primers but others don't. Acrylic nails make a chemical reaction when you add the monomer (smelly liquid) to the powder. Which is why you have to work fast because it hardens on it's own. If you have a Fear of UV, you can ask the salonist before you sit if they use UV primers. I notice they always put you under the uv light to help the nail polish/seal coat dry at the end though. You're out of luck there. Sorry :(

I love that you keep your tips where they naturally start. I always see acrylic/gels that have the tip color starting almost half way down the nail and don't understand, looks so unnatural and stubby! This is gorgeous, almost makes me want acrylics.

@AshleyTatton I know exactly what you mean, but when someone prefers shorter nails they have to start the color a little farther down from the tip otherwise it would be a tiny strip and look kinda weird lol

@lilmousy86 I think it depends ha im not a nail tech but you could watch videos from 'boldntrendynails' ive noticed she cures when she puts on a sealer, maybe you could get some ideas from her, i think also in the end, if you dont find anything out just consult a nail tech.

one thing that hep when im doing glitter tips is to do a thin coato gliter acrylic and cover that layer with my clear acrylic so that when i file the color wil be solid and it wont have those tiny white sparkles
