You can actually find this clip (from the beginning until the baby carriage) on a Fisher Price film cartridge called "On My Way to Sesame Street" for the "Movie Viewer" set manufactured in 1973. I used to have it when I was younger, so I should know! The background is still the original light blue but without the music. Until now, I hadn't seen this clip in its entirety for 34 years and now I remember how weird that music was!
The first clip in this video actually does come from the original Sesame Street and it dates back to at least 1970. They played it quite a few times for about two or three years. However, the background in the original show wasn't orange, but light blue! But I remember seeing this on the French-Canadian version of the show (called "Sesame") in 1976 and the background was orange, too. I guess the film's creators decided to change the clip's background color when it was used for other languages.
