  • i like how graceful the ballet dancers are xD i would actually love to see an actual show someday... :D soon.....

  • I love the Jester. Usually you associate such a figure with clumsiness and silliness. This one hower excudes power and grace. Its unnerving.

  • I am playing this song for orchestra, and its super fun to play as well as listen to!

  • The glory of Tchaikovsky's waltzes! The music gets into my blood... I can't hear one without wanting to dance it!

  • we can see this video 1,000000000000000 times and never get tired of it! bravo!!!

  • That was beautiful. I just love the fine arts, from ballet, to paintings. Some people have so much talent, it makes me so happy.

  • Ohhh yayyyy swan lake on my birthday!!!!

  • Which part is it when Rothbart casts his spell on Odette?

  • тоже милая сцена была в Бригаде - Опера, Лебединое Озеро, Безруков и его слова:"Браво, браво! БравО!"

  • i get goosebumps when i hear this waltz:)

  • i love it

  • Amazing.

  • This is my part...actually one of 3 parts!!! If anyone is lives in St. Louis...come see Saint Louis Ballet's Swan Lake April 9-11!!!=D This is a totally shameless plug...sorry!!! Swan Lake is probably my favorite classical ballet!!!

  • i love this musicc<3333

  • this waltz always makes me cry. it's powerful and immense. I love it

  • @lapalissiano agree

  • @lapalissiano e il valzer dei fiori dello schiaccianoci....????

  • @lapalissiano The same happens to me, I can't helpt it... I just cry!

  • I love ballet, I just can't understand why I quit ._.

I started dancing when I was 4 and i stopped when I was 8. now I'm 15 and I want to dance again, is it too late? '-'

  • nope of course not! Go ahead and do it! It might be hard at first but keep at it...good luck!

  • @beelinhamenezes- Seconded! I feel your pain. I'm way too old to go back, but you still have a chance! It's not too late for you!

  • @beelinhamenezes Definitely not too late!!! Get back into it!!!=D

  • its not to late. im sure once you start up again it will get easier. i started dancing when i was 3 and then stopped at age 6. then started back up again when i was 8 or nine, then i stopped again and started back at age 13 and have been dancing ever since, im 15 now. and im doing great, or at least i think i am. haha

  • beautiful!!!!!

    amazing!!!!!!!!!

  • i did a dance to this at ABT summer intensive

  • Beautiful!

    Ulf Sawert

  • just luv it :D

  • ... thanks - i did "le corsaire" with the kirov - slave trader - altenai & farouk ...

  • ... i forgot to ask ... do some ballet companies do this waltz as a "maypole dance" ? ... i thought i saw the royal ( london ) do it that way ( ? ) ... thanks for posting .....

  • I saw an American production here on youtube do that variation. I think Angel Corella was in it.

  • ... thanks - i think the kirov also does it as a maypole ...

  • The Kirov does not do the waltz with a mayploe.

  • ABT does the maypole dance (in the McKenzie version since 2000).

When I saw it in Tokyo, it was more like a mess than a dance, maybe because the stage was smaller than their usual Met stage.

  • ... thanks hermit - so you like pas de deux ? what about the golden idol from la bayadere ? ...

  • Of course, being a Japanese, I could never leave out Teddy Kumakawa's performance at the Royal Ballet or Morihiro Iwata's at the Bolshoi.

    Both are available on youtube.

Japanese dancers are not exactly outstanding in their posture, but strong technique shines (especially as the gold/bronze idol)!

  • ... great ...
