nice message but 'bound conscience' doesn't seem like a Lutheran concept - it's sounds rather Anglican, Oxford like to me.. If Luther respected 'bound conscience' would he have nailed those thesis to the church door? Why is the ELCA worried about people leaving? Is membership and money what is important? I will say that we need to start educating our people, especially the lay leadership, as many respond to the radio and TV preachers rather than our own doctrines..
