  • where was this filmed??

  • Artists strive to express truths of the Spirit such that all other spirits who witness the expression can come to recognize the same truth that is true for everyone no matter what position anyone is looking at that truth.

  • i hope you got an A+. I am sad. Good work. I mean it, im not horsing around.

  • Your lucky to watch this, there are certain groeps in the US an the Netherlands that want to ban sites like youtube and censor the internet claiming it is to protect the intrest of artist. I would call music and movies art and art is culture and culture is for everyone. wil we soon have to delete evry pic from a show or painting if we did not pay for it. no this is abouth power and control of the people. Have you ever met a poor artist that cant eat becouse of this. i think not!

  • @tsmtenberge Sadly enough, though, this has nothing to do with the artist. It's the record company that has the rights and the money. God forbid if they only make millions instead of billions while the artist can't afford to eat because the record companies have all the money the artist rightfully deserves!

  • @AdamJones514

Yea youre right on al acounts, in fact i think most artist dont even get to take the decision of how there art is handled used ore distributed

  • @tsmtenberge Artists thrive on publicity. I should sleep well knowing my work is being observed regardless of purchase.

  • This came over the speakers amongst the usual Top 40 pap at a pizza joint in Centerville, Utah, which needless to say surprised me to death. It's not the type of song designed to move to the back of your brain while you enjoy your meal, it's something you take note of and actively listen to.

  • You better have gotten a 100 for this.

  • No....coz it's not

  • can anyone say..radioheads a kinda modern day pinkfloyd?

  • @cookiesrgood4thesoul i can kinda see that

  • @cookiesrgood4thesoul I was just thinking that.

  • @cookiesrgood4thesoul. Check out Time flies by Porcupine tree and compare it to Dogs by Pink Floyd. It will answer your question

  • Dude this is downtown State College, PA. Was not expecting to see that. lol. And good song.

  • The title of this song "where I end and you begin" is deep and one of the hardest philosophical question which once I have been asked. Dont remember who told it but Im pretty sure I wasnt able to answer it, partially due to higher amount of alcohol in my blood. But it fascinated me till this day like this song.

  • cool video

  • Very nice, Is like i feel the air.

  • This can't be the actual video, right

  • graet vid!!!!!!!!!!!

  • No one but the Artist can say what this song means to 'THEM'. Its inheirent in Art for others to find their own interpetations and meaning. AnyTrue Artist would tell you as much....

  • Comment removed

  • @CDCANDIES I too disagree with Paperhouse81; for indeed Thom Yorke himself has before expressed that their passion is for their artistry to be interpreted & shared by it's appreciators, subjectively..while still making connection.

As I see it; e.g, a painter can produce their own meaningful picture, but everyone's perception & interpretation is unique & as valid. What IS art without the beholder with their own mind&heart?

    :)

  • @alaphize Yes, and it makes the Artist's work no 'less valid' to him for someone to see ''green'' where he's/she's painted ''gray''-that's basically all i was intending to say to Paperhouse's comment, for they are absolutely intitled to his/her opinion. As you kinda pointed out, Art IS subjective, so neither of our 'opinions' have to be wrong nor, hopefully, offend. I HATE fighting over Art!

  • @CDCANDIES Aye. Peace :)

  • the fuck is with this video? we wanna listen to radiohead not watch some dirtbag loser snort 8 grams of meth and sit in his room by himself seriously wtf?!

  • @africanBoy1989 calm your farm dude.

  • @africanBoy1989 Nobody said you had to watch the video.

  • Lisatostado is correct. I've never heard a song that didn't fit perfectly into whatever fantasy I was concocting at the moment. No artist would expose themselves so transparently anyway. The guys that did this video, I find it hard to sympathise with them since they seem to have extremely high living standards as well as access to good drugs. Poor babies.

  • beatiful.

  • @lisatostado And it's actually our "unconscious", the consciousness below the conscious. "Sub" - refers to the consciousness that lingers BETWEEN consciousness and unconsciousness. NOT the unconscious itself! A lot of people get those words confused.

  • @lisatostado Actually, the person listening will only apply what he or she feels the song to mean. It is never objective and clear when we ourselves are describing something. That is why it is best to go directly to the artist himself. In your case, what Thom was trying to tell you is that music deserves mystery in order to attract. Artist write and make cryptic material to seduce our curiosity. Anyone could of told you that!

  • Master bating at 2:40ish?! Haha

  • Very gooooooood! ;)

  • 2:33 Good old coce-wank.

  • phsycodelic ,,,, dark ,,,, lovely song n____n

  • state college in the clip??

  • a very mellow trip, i think

  • mystic

  • Decent.

  • @bLackmarketRadio decent, albeit a very credible word, is yet very lacklustre

  • No one but the artist can say what this song means.

  • @Paperhouse81

But anyone can say what the song means to him/her

  • @blikjekattenvoer That also. But to get an objective definition of the song, you have to refer to the artist.

  • @Paperhouse81 U are Wrong

  • @IknowUification Yes he is wrong.

  • great video, just perfect for this song

  • great video

  • fuck logic

  • nice job man

  • Sitting in the cold realizing this is what defined us all

  • I Just Love The Bassline.

  • did you really snort coke at 2:05 ?

  • i love the beginning of the video; fucks with my perspective

  • Dude dont bogart that line

  • Guuuuuuau, excelente video, digno de ser elogiado por los fans de Radiohead, ¿y por que no? por el mismo Thom York. Excellent video, congratulations.

  • <3 awesomeeeeeeeeee !!!!! -_-

  • nice line

  • Interesting and true to life!

    GOOD JOB!

  • I'm digging this, great job!

  • why would you use footage of yourself masturbating for school? o.O

  • amazing song obviesly really amazing but i must say, its a great video too ! good job!

  • Love the feeling of this. Deep and dark.

The mood reminds me of trip hop -

Portishead, Massive Attack, Tricky, Unkle, Allflaws

  • @TheWindfull never heard of Tricky but always loved the rest of those, thanks for making me find they're music. lovehht!

  • @vintagecity13 Definitely check out Tricky. He used to part of Massive Attack, he's no doubt a legend in Trip-Hop. Even invented his own type of vocals haha.

  • @Thelndigo definitely will thanx!!

  • nice city

  • I snort coke before mastebating too.

  • interesting interpretation..

  • I hear angels singing

  • Is the film set in Brighton?

  • @Monstergoat66 good luck

  • @Monstergoat66 Hell is right here on Earth. G-d is a figment of our imagination.

  • @BoysLikeMeee +1 . Some theories prone the fact that God would be the representation of our conscience. Greek people tought it apparently.

  • i assume this song is about finding it difficult to believe in god? (something along those line...)

  • @Monstergoat66 Mortal consciousness is hell. If your not in Heaven (The LIght) you're in Hell (The Darkness). Jesus Christ ascending in You takes you back home - To Heaven.

  • the film was a perfect match for the song. not many student projects are that well done. it gives a real feeling of desolation.

    liked it

  • @Monstergoat66 God dosen't exist, noor the devil, you dumb fuck :D

  • @Vondelene bit ignorant to call someone who is religious a "dumb fuck" (im an athiest by the way...)

  • @jordanbarker676 totally agree, no one can knock another for not having the same perspective on things. i'm not atheist and i am not religious either.

  • This song is just so incredibly awesome!!! eeeeee

  • WHY ARE WE TALKING ABOUT GOD? FUCK.

  • @Monstergoat66 God has given Satan the world, to watch over us, because Satan said that he could run the world better than god, so when god gave him the world, war happened, deadly weather, world hunger/thirst.

And if you haven't noticed, it gets worse and worse as the years go.

When it gets bad enough, we all die.

  • @partyman147 God is the real bad one because he gave the world to Satan knowing is very bad for us

  • @DarKxKira He gave it to Satan to prove himself, to see if he actually could run the world.

  • where do they only come up with that great stuff?!?!

  • ah great..-.-

now i will have to look for kaiqais' comment -.-'

  • @emil909090 Highlight kaiqais , press Ctrl + V, Ctrl + F, and then click 'View All Comments'

  • Your lefty ?? I heard they were gay ?

  • @LeGiTHiTmArK3Rz That's the most retarded thing I have ever read.

  • "there's a gap in between / there's a gap where we meet / where I end and you begin," sang the terminal bouton to the dendritic spine

  • great movie guys i like it!

  • Would you not of been better making this video for "climbing up the walls"?

  • me encanta tu video men, buenaaaa cancion de radiohead,

  • Sheish I just want to hug him! Lol

  • @Monstergoat66 Be prepared for a disappointing answer.

  • How boring can everyday life be? It's an endless loop...

  • i think muses version of where i end and you begin is better

  • @flo6473 ...dont....even....mention Muse next to the gods.

  • @Yellovvsnovvman next to george w bush?

  • @flo6473 (facepalm) Such a confused young boy.

  • @ambskater97 i am not confused i can see the devil clearly in front of me

  • You snorted cocain and masturbated to porn for a school project? What subject were you make this for lol.

  • hey, where did you get the picture at 2:18?

  • @Monstergoat66 cause its fun

  • A pretty terrible video. Series of poorly shot handheld shots, edited together poorly. Not sure what the video is on about, and even less sure what it has to do with the music.

  • @danakerman it's a school project mate, go easy

  • Ill sum this up in 4 words:

    great song, shit video

  • que basura

  • With radiohead there's no usual structure like verse-chorus, verse-chorus, break chorus, repeat and end.

It's, one long verse that comes in waves, a transe-inducing chorus, and end...

  • Was this filmed in Ann Arbor?

  • shit album but great song

  • @mrbloke11 album is great you sir dont like good music

  • @zachkam1 The band admitted it to Mojo that they didn't like it, so yeah. Also, one album means my entire taste in music is shitty? That's a stretch.

  • @mrbloke11

Riley, you're just a goddamn hipster.

  • @WhatyouWIN I'd rather call myself a music nerd, since I'm not bitter towards mainstream music, and my taste is rather diverse as well. Also Dylan you're the biggest troll I know XD

  • @mrbloke11

    U mad?

  • @WhatyouWIN Well... no

  • When I first opened this I was definitely skeptical as soon as I realized it was a college video instead of the real thing. I noticed that when I saw the first guy in the alley way. Then I thought alright lets see how gay this is... few moments later I was completely blown away from this music video, awesome job. could have done without the jacking off scene but other than that I am very impressed, awesome.

  • what city/town are you from?

  • Why does he have 3 beds in a bedroom?

  • @crhettbuttler1 becouse he has 2 brothers

  • I think the song is lyrically pretty self explanatory... He describes a lot of surrealistic things as though this "gap in between... Where I end and you begin" is a physical place that is the beginning of loneliness.

  • Did anyone else think the guy was in a jail cell at the beginning?

  • I love this song. I go washing my tank top..

  • :[

  • great video!!!!!!!

  • Way to masturbate in front of 200K+ people. A+ for courage

  • :I

  • i enjoy music a lot, and i mean pretty much everything but mainly hip hop (the real stuff) and when i first heard these guys i wasnt sure what the lyrics meant but i loved the relaxed and complex sounds, and now when i think of the lyrics it's amazing to see how many different ways every song can be analyzed and i love itt, this year is marked by my discovery of radiohead, and i want all of their albums noww!

  • the gay who makes the video did't understood the song at all.

  • @Trousurpattes i agree 100%! I dont understand this song and i wouldnt pretend i did in any kind of "project". That said, if you can explain to me what this song is about, that would be greatly appreciated.

  • @codern The song is about addiction and the tendency of people to self loath and destroy themselves through abuse and alienation of once meaningful relationships. Its been my experience that all addicts or alcoholics are, by necessity, liars. Therefor my take on the end of the song "I will eat you alive...they'll be no more lies" could be interpreted as an addict using until they finally DIE/get clean and no longer have to lie; or at least that is my take on it.

  • @Rmcmillin86 After that analogy , the title of the song is so exact. They say I am sorry which I believe I hear him say. I went to a meeting once for coping reasons after my partner died(due to lifestyle) A member said, "Some die so that others may live." Makes so much sense. Thank you for your awareness......

  • @Abkeda I'm glad that you were able to find meaning in my interpretation of the song. It made me feel great to see that you took the time to write something to me!

    Rob

  • @Rmcmillin86 maybe he is talking to his other self. a conversation between the drugged self and the sober self

  • @Rmcmillin86 <3

  • @cstouttt Back at you :)

  • @Rmcmillin86 Love your interpretation.

  • @Jdolar6 Thanks Jdolar

  • i dont get it

  • i know Radiohead fans might not give a shit, but Silversun Pickups totally ripped off this song with their "Panic Switch". when i first heard the Silversun Pickups song i thought it was Radiohead, until the guy/chick started singing.

  • @r4scuache Just listened to it. Your totally right.

  • don't kick thom's balls with this shit...jodete pendejo

  • Awesome job with the editing!!!!

  • DON'T LIKE IT
