Thank you. I have been looking for this song for years. So sad that great songs are out of print. I am from Long Island N.Y, and WLIR was a big part of my life , until it became a spanish staton. This song brings back so many great memories.

@beanxxxx and acmyke... I will always love WLIR!! Miss the heck outta that station and the DJ's. With the exception of about 3 or 4 current artists, about 98% of the stuff I listen to today is LIR music! "The Station that dares to be different"! <3

I like all music but i have to admit, the best music came from LIR in 1983 through the late eighties. Some of the lost songs- Sex beat, sex beat- bag lady, even ozen, micheal secession-peter schilling oh i could write forever. If your a true lir fan you know

Within the last couple of months, I've thrown Sex Beat and Bag Lady up on my Facebook wall, so it's really funny that you should mention 'em! The The, Scritti Politti,... The Magician by Secession! I still play that like it just came out, lol! I miss hearin' Dennis McNamara, Larry the Duck, Malibu Sue, etc. playin' those tunes. The Screamer of the Week, Off The Boat..! <3

I'm used to the "single" remixes because those are the ones that I heard first, thanks to NY DJ Gary Byrd. This version is sort of bland and lacks flavour for "my" taste. It certainly does not change the incredible infectious vocals that cannot be ignored.
