i like both bands alot!..so ill throw my two cents in...Kerry King is ultimately part of one of the most influencial metal bands of all time..his and jeffs style was to be as chaotic as possible even with solos..they were written to sound horrific and out of key on purpose, slayer is a tad bit more aggressive, but in my opinion as far as guitar technically and leads go..no question asked..dimebag had the chops..He gets my vote.. His live sound was amazing, if you missed out, im sorry for you..

I like both guitarists and both bands, Dimebag Darrell is definitely a better guitarist, no offesne to King. Dime uses blues techniques in his solos, and plays with feel, CAN play with speed, but doesen't always, ect.
