There should be machine made for aspiring guitar players, I know I could use one, that you put on at night, and it slowly pulls your fingers apart from each other and works out your wrist and hand muscles while you sleep. LoL I have seen some chords that only E.T. can play....mind boggling.
@fishbones23 the # means the chord is labelled as a "sharp" chord. Example: C# (sharp) minor. The big letters list the major chord while lower case letters list minor chords in accordance with their tones/sounds :) and of course on scales, etc but # means sharp :)
And yes c minor is the same as cm :) It's just two different ways of writing it. cm is c minor and cM is the same as c major =)
@apindayer10 that was c minor. Root note on C (second string, first note). If you want a C#m, slide the root note, C,up one semitone to, C#, (half-step) and you have C#m.
its pretty hard to bar a frett but try to use index finger so you have more control in it i use to have alot of trouble in the stairway to heaven TABS and other because of the bar ;)
@Happyfacesmiles25 Keep your thumb pressed firmly on the back of the guitar neck, and use your 'pointing finger' to press down on the strings, baring them. Hurts like hell at first, but once you can do it well enough to play, it's brilliant.
@Happyfacesmiles25 Just keep practicing barring frets. It hurts like a bitch, I know. It took me a while to get it down, but eventually my finger strength started to develop and it becomes really easy to do!
like Bm right ???

i have to say that this is a extremely simple chord, and if you can't play it on the guitar, then you are an epic fail.

If you want to bar, make sure your thumb has very much pressure on the back of the neck. It really isnt that hard.
