You can do all the adjustments you want, scoliosis is a structural deformity and the joints will eventually return to their previous state as the body always moves to the path of least resistance. Of course you don't mind that as the client keeps coming back for adjustments. All she needs to do is some rotation correction exercises to permanently reduce spinal muscle asymmetries (a much healthier way for the joints).

That adjustment bed sure looks handy. Very interesting video. Also, I have a bit of a hunch back. I asked my urgent care doctor a while back and he said if i kept good posture, then it would go away. He said he was no back expert. Should I see a chiropractor?
@DrakrSlyr Yes! Chiropractic, especially when done with the drop table lie this, can really help any type of curvature-my patients always look & feel taller when they get off the table because I set their spine straight!
I am a 32 year old female and started seeing a chiropractor in April. I was found to have a 14.5 degree scoliosis in my thoracic spine but that has been reduced to 9.1 degrees. I see my chiropractor for regular adjustments once or twice a month. Thanks for sharing this video
@gnortonshores Great! Keep up with the regular Chiropractic-it sounds like you found a great Chiropractor and he is doing a good job! Yay Love to hear that!
are these adjustments, long-term? or do you have to see a chiro on a regular basis?? also straight after adjustment, can you resume with training etc.? or do you have to take extra care??
@TRT26 There are moderate long term results with this technique but I do recommend periodic treatment to keep the spine functional and prevent degeneration. I cannot completely correct the scoiosis or curvature, but I can relieve the pain and straighten the spine considerably without surgery! If you are fit then you can work out after treatment, however, if you are recuperating from an injury I recommend taking it easy in order to promote soft tissue healing around the injured area.

You actually may be able to avoid surgery with this technique! I cannot even count how many people I have saved from surgery over the years-realignment of the bones is critical to recovery from any injury-if the misalignment is not corrected, a person could have pain for years, life. Ribs directly affect the nerves that travel to the heart, lungs and digestive system and can cause symptoms ranging from difficulty breathing, heartburn, indigestion nausea, even hiccups & coughing!
Max-Stephanie has both- a thoracic scoliosis & lumbar lordosis, notice in the later part of the video I correct the lordosis too.
Lauren-I know how painful ribs can be-the good news is this can be corrected and the spine made more functional-write me an email to classicchiro@gmail.com and maybe I can recommend someone.
I have scoliosis as well and I was wondering if scoliosis can be brought on by weight gain? I gained a lot of weight as a child and am short. About 5"7. I started to get severe back pain when I was in middle school and high school. I got up to about 310 lbs before I started to diet and have went back down to 255lbs or so in the last 5 months. I'm still weight training and dieting but my back pain seems to flare up a lot. I have pretty bad lordosis and kyphosis as well. 22 male.
Weight would not cause scoliosis but extreme weight can make it progress and weaken the spine over time. The extra weight puts a strain on the framework of the body, displacing the bones and affecting gait among other things. The correct Chiropractic adjustments can minimize your curvature and restore normal motion to the joints. You are young and should respond very quickly to treatment so get a referral to someone-who does real adjustments and get treated ASAP Good Luck!
man I wish I could have you adjust me, I have pain daily in my ribs, they're always popping out on the side they protrude most, from scoliosis :( plus that same side has a rounded shoulder
Does Stephanie have scoliosis or lordosis (or both)? I'm roughly her age and I've found out I've got lordosis, and I was wondering if this kind of treatment is good for that, or more tailored to the lateral nature of scoliosis.
Well as you can see the patient looks pretty comfortable here in this video, it actually feels good to get ribs put back in place. The drop takes the impact out of the adjustment and allows the bones to be set in place more easily and comfortably! My patients feel so much better when they get off the table no one ever complains!
Thanks, while I don't believe Chiropractic can cure MS, I know from experience that it can increase and amplify nerve transmission which brings relief from many symptoms, and also helps improve flexibility and movement, especially walking.
what do you call that bed? is it available in philippines?

Talk about leg length discrepancy and how it can cause rotation and scoliosis.
