  • The first (and best) song of the two is "Northern Lights" by Lux! I think it's from Cafe Del Mar Vol 7 if you're into this kinda music. found it by accident on a Tv radio station!

  • @oneyearon;

just listen to somafm.com groove salad :)

  • Absolutely beautiful....

  • Grey seals are wonderful, i swim with them regularly at bardsey island, north wales

  • Thats amazing....ive never seen anything like it! how lucky were you guys?

  • Nice vid, seriously tame seals! Must see a lot of divers!

  • Very Nice!

  • Very good video. I plan to do this dive, it's an amazing diving moment!

  • Great little film and a nice personal feel to the experience you had. It looks fab indeed. My girlfriend and myself are booked for 3 days in the Farnes in August with our dive club Chelmsford BSAC. This really has got me chomping at the bit to get there! Many thanks for posting!

  • Hi

Thanks for your comment. I hope you all have a wonderful time up there. It's an wonderful place even without the diving. A trip to the lifeboat station is worth it too.

A good tip with the seals is to find somewhere to sit and wait. In between 2 islands is a good place. You need to be a little patient but let them come to you. It's worth the wait.

    Have fun and safe diving.

I'd love to hear how you get on!!

    Karen

  • How long did you have to wait? And which operator did you guys go with?

  • Wow

Love your video. This is on my diving list.

    Thankyou

  • Thank you for taking the time to comment. Glad you enjoyed the video. We loved the dive, and the Farne Islands are an amzing place too. Hope you have a wonderful time with the seals when you get to go there.

    Karen

  • Wow thanks for posting this looks fantastic and very moving! My husband and I really want to do this one day! We've just qualified the open water diving and seeing all these wonderful things that you can do once you can dive is so exciting!

Do you have to have quite a bit of experience to dive in the Farne Islands? Would like to feel quite confidant before attempting this, also how much does this cost roughly?

  • Hello, thanks! lovely comments! Congratulations to you both on passing your open waters! If you let me know where you are both based I'll get best information for you. It doesn't cost too much at all and there's so much to do & see apart from diving. The co. we go with r brill though many places do get booked up. It's good diving for ur level..not too deep. It'd be a good idea to do a drysuit course 1st if diving UK. Anyway, drop me a line -let me know where ur &I'll do my best to help

  • Hi

If you google ''farne diving services' speak to Stan or Lee - I'm from adventure divers in Enfield. They get very booked up so call early. All the best - safe diving

  • I did`nt realize, that a women is the diver. I alltime only looked in the eyes of the seal!

Its so wunderful, how the seal enjoys your touchs. Dives up for breading air and comes back.

    What an experience . . . . Also for the cameramen . . . .

  • Hei Karen, i come from Germany, life momently in Norway and go in 3 weeks to South Africa.

The reason i found this video is, i looked for a special video what i sow i . . . . . . (?) where you can see that a seal fooools a shark what ends that the shark bites in a alumuniumboat ! ! !
